We believe that inspiration is everywhere. You can find it in the pages of magazines or in the textures and colors of a bedroom or a bathroom. It could be in the shades of your favorite sunset or the landscape of your travels. You pull from it a pallet of mood, vibrations, colors and ultimately a feeling you get from looking at it.

Take this beach glass - it’s varied, unique, eclectic. It’s modern yet old world. It’s colorful yet muted. It’s fun and expected. It allows your eye to move through it jumping from one element to the next.

If we were to design an invitation we would be sure to create pieces that drew the eye around the flat lay. Some with lots of color and some intentionally muted. We’d probably cut a few edges off in various elements to bring in a geometric shape to it.

SEND THIS ONE ON: know someone getting married or someone that photographs weddings? Listen up - they’ll want to hear this.

1. Couples: Please give your photographer two sets of invitations. Trust us - you get to see all the details from the front and back of your suite. There is so much detail lost when only one side of the story is presented.

2. Photographers- On the flip side of the coin, please don’t forget allllllllll the details. Ask for two sets of invitations, lay it all out. If couples are going the custom route (or even another option), these details matter. They want to see it all - the envelope, the seal, the save the date, the program.

Our custom invitations are about illustrating each love story and in order to embark on that journey you need all the little bits and chapters. Please don’t leave anything out!

What caused two wedding stationers to get all dressed up on a Saturday night? Actually not a wedding but - Taylor Swift. We got to relive the best concert we’ve ever attended by singing all the songs at the top of our lungs with LOT OF amazing humans dressed to the nines. The Taylor’s (version) Party at @tellus360 was so much fun. A DJ - a costume contest - lots of sweat and tears for this and it was everything we needed. Emily is the letterer; Virginia is the artist. Together, we are the creatives behind the invitation design company, Cork and Chambers. We both have a passion for creating and customizing handmade invitations and decor to best suit your vision. From hand-drawn artwork to personalized lettering, every one-of-a-kind design reflects your vision for your special event or space. Our wedding suites make a statement and first impression on your guests, helping set the theme for your special occasion. Our wedding branding helps to tie in elements from your invitation throughout your menus, table numbers, place cards and other style items at your wedding. This kind of attention to detail will help create a cohesive style event on your wedding day.

Our name, Cork and Chambers, derived from our maiden names. As Virginia was going through her wedding planning process, we had a long discussion about how women lose their last names when they get married. We realized that while we don’t keep our names our whole life, they are still part of who we are deep down. Our name represents a little bit of our past and a whole lot of what is to come for us. Since part of our brand focuses on wedding invitations and design, we realized that it was a perfect fit for our business.
