And that’s *almost* a wrap! 😆🎊 We have one more New Year’s Eve wedding which will wrap up our 2020 and 2021 wedding season.

We had wayyy more weddings than I originally planned for especially having little man #3 last January, but it’s been an incredible, fast past season, with such lovely brides.

We are incredibly honored to have served all our brides this year. I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: it makes my heart so happy to celebrate and serve our clients in this special time in their lives.

MARKET UPDATE: 2.5 million nuptials will be taking place in 2022, which has nearly doubled since 2020. 🍾🤍 say WHHAAAT?!?!! 👇🏻👇🏻

We saw a huge increase last year, with a whopping 1.9 million weddings from the post Covid 2020 year.

So while this is exciting news, the floral industry is still impacted (and can I say hurting?) from the Covid impact.

Shipping lanes are down. Product is sitting at airports - meaning we can get more damaged items, and higher flower costs for you. Flower farms have transitioned over to fruit farms. Everyone wants product. But inventory is low and supply was at an all time high this year.

But congratulations to all you couples getting married in 2022!! What does this mean for you??

Book your vendors now friend (if you haven’t already!!)! It’s never too early to book. But it may be too late for that favorite vendor who you have been secretly stalking their feed.

Tag your friend who’s getting married this year!!! Or that bride who may need to hear this! 🤍🎉

Hey bride, are you sticker shocked at the price of your florals?!! Consider this! Your wedding flowers are an investment. 😳

Sure they may die within hours of being out of water. And most likely will be droopy by the end of the day.

What you are paying for are all those BEAUTIFUL images your photographer will capture during the day. It’s what makes your day, YOU!

The team said it best: “your flowers will die but you’ll have your photos forever.”

If you’re on the fence about what you really want for your day, consider the atmosphere you want to create for your guests. The florals play a big piece in this visual element. And even though they will die, you’ll have your images and memories which WILL last forever.

Brides, did you know spring is one of the best times to get married?!?!
Ok I’m biased for sure. ☺️ But spring blooms are just so exquisite. Let’s talk tulips, sweet peas, trailing bridal veil vines, peonies…I mean come on! They are perfect for a textured and feminine look like this bouquet.

This bouquet was filled with seasonal blooms and I suuuurely cannot get enough of them. 😆

Hi friend! It’s me, Kate. -> Surrounded by my boys. The snuggles, laughs and hugs are usually just on our couch with day(sssss) old laundry piled everywhere, books still not put away from morning snuggles, and train tracks scattered on the floor. -> can you mompreneurs relate?!!

But the real hero is behind the camera. Making us all laugh. And faithfully helping the house run smoothly when it’s a wedding week. I truly couldn’t run my business without my man, Jonathan.

It’s a rare occasion when I get beautiful photos of my work. And I cannot say enough about the super talented Erika Brown] who gave me a vision for this arbor, and let me do my thing. Ohhh and took the cuuutest pictures of my fam. Erika Brown] girllllll you are truly so talented!!! 🤍

I cannot believe our 6th wedding season is coming to an end in just about 2 months. It’s been a crazy year with more weddings than planned (thanks to Covid). Flower shortages. Supply chain issues making it difficult to get supplies, vases, foam, etc. But that’s life. We adapt. And learn to get creative!

Hey bride, here’s the honest truth: the more people at your wedding, or the higher your guest count, the more you will [likely] spend on your wedding.

If you’re like me and have a serious case of FOMO and all your guests are on your A list (because of course you wouldn’t want to miss anyone!) get ready to spend some dollars!!

Naturally the more guests you have the more centerpieces will be needed. Or ceremony chair flowers. Or your space is now bigger to accommodate your guest count and now you need more floral installations to make a BIGGER IMPACT for your guests.

Totally nothing wrong with a big wedding - I had one! - just factor these costs into your planning.

Take time to sit and enjoy that drink with your girls as you get ready. Breath slowly for a few moments before you walk down the aisle. Take a little extra time whispering sweet nothings in your new hubby’s ear during pictures.

The day will go by so fast. Make it a priority to cherish each moment.
