I just thought this was too pretty not to post. This is a newer item that I’ve added to Nona‘s menu. Roasted golden beets, pickled red beets, pickled red onion, candied walnuts, chickpeas, Goat cheese and Micro greens with a lemon vinaigrette. My mother used to say to me, Michele, at some point you have to stop putting make up on 🤣 I feel the salad had no edit to it but it was very well received

It was a good baking day. Baking when it’s not 85° or 100% humidity is so much easier.

Grand Opening this weekend! Nona’s Fresh Baked farm stand will be open all Labor Day Weekend starting Saturday. Stop by the corner of Bronson Lake Road & Gray Road to pick up some of the yummiest baked goodies in Lapeer County! Special feature for the holiday is homemade marshmallow s’mores dipped in chocolate and rolled in graham cracker crust.
This Sunday honestly just keeps getting better and better!

What an amazing celebration today! We had the pleasure of feeding a large group of people for a very special occasion. Homemade deep dish focaccia bread sandwiches, roasted vegetable pasta salad, deviled eggs, chicken Ceasar salad, biscotti, cookies, and fresh filed cannoli! Mangia.
Chartreuse or is it Chartruteri? How about Caprese salad with deviled eggs, prosciutto, cheeses, homemade Companata, and some local balsamics from my good friend who’m for some reason I cannot tag.
We don’t even need a kitchen to cater a wedding! We just build our own. Thankfully they had a walk in cooler outside by the back patio already. Each dish was prepared and served separately for the 7 course meal! Some highlights included: deep fried arancini with marinara and clam vongole.
We want to thank the bride & groom for letting us be a part of this occasion. Also thanks to Steve and the staff at The Gateway in Clarkston for all their help this weekend/week!

Wow! Look at this amazing event! Bean and Bean and Benny Coffee Bar is huge! Benny told us it is almost 3000sf! 70-80 is a perfect size party and everyone can enjoy one another’s company… and the food!
I get so many messages regarding having an official “menu” out and believe me I am working on it (along with a few other things). I always get held back by the fact that everyone CUSTOMIZES their menu to their own taste, size and location of event, and even the season of the year! I love coming up with new ideas with a customer and tailoring their menu to them and their event or occasion. Please don’t hesitate to contact me to make up your own menu! I love to talk about food and go over the many options. I can provide food for as little as a 20 person gathering or as many as 200 people!
