The 2025 Baja Nevada: The Long Way is set to be our most EPIC event of the season! This is the must-attend event of 2025, and we want YOU to be part of it.

As we gear up for this incredible challenge, the motorcycles, quads, and 3-wheelers have been a major part of the discussion for this event, will there be enough participation from the handlebars? There are additional hours from our amazing volunteers that we greatly appreciate, out in the desert keeping the participants and the public safe with this 1,000 mile long distance race.

In addition there are costs that we incur from NDOT, BLM, and Counties for additional manpower hours that also have to be considered.

To ensure these additional hours are justified in helping keep handlebars from being caught by the steering wheel classes, we’re asking riders in these classes to pre-register and submit a deposit by April 25th, 2025. We need a minimum of 25 pre- sign ups in the motorcycle, quad and 3-wheeler classes combined to ensure these classes get the opportunity to participate in this monumental event. If, for any reason, we don’t reach 25 entries, your deposit will be fully refunded. Deposit amounts will be $400 for teams and $250 for Ironman.

We love our bike and quad teams that have supported us over the years and look forward to having 3- wheelers become a bigger part of our events and we don’t want these classes to be left out. But we do need a strong participation so Sign up now and let’s help make history together with the 1st ever 1,000 mile single day format race in the United States!!

Stopping Bleeding in a critical situation is the number one thing that any person can do to in fact save a life in the middle of nowhere. Seconds truly count when a person is bleeding. Learn life saving techniques in minutes. The first 20 attendees at each Stop the Bleed course will also receive a free stop the bleed emergency kit! Come spend an hour with us on February 20th at the Parker Dam 500 at 1pm in the registration room and be prepared to save a life!

Registration for our 2025 Contingency Program is now OPEN!

The Contingency Program is an amazing tool to help build your customer base. Customers purchase your products from you or an authorized dealer and you post result based awards for competing with your products as long as the racer displays the proper branding decals that you mandate. An award might consist of product, gift certificates for service, a discount for future product purchases or even a cash prize. There is no minimum or limit to how much you offer, it must make good business sense for you and be incentivizing to your customer. There is no better testimonial than your product helping a race see his or her best results in this harsh environment. The racers appreciate your support and this will surely share in their success. Gorilla marketing at its finest.

Legacy Racing offers this to you, free of charge, and it is as easy as 1, 2, 3, to get involved.

Provide us with the decals and location on the race car to be eligible for awards.
Determine how much you would like to offer for all classes combined that you support and how that is broken up.

And lastly send out the awards to those who qualify. We will send you a report approximately 30 days after the race with the name, address, email and phone number of the award recipient emailed to you.

It is just that simple. You even get a free vendor space at any Legacy event Fan-Fest for the year (the Town of Parker does charge a nominal fee for that one event). If you are coming to a race, each event has a registration page on our website. Sign up online and Jason Cobb will reach out with details. Make sure to get signed up online. Rule updated for the 2025 Legacy Racing Season Specifically Active Suspension:
After thorough research and consideration, Legacy Racing has decided that Active Suspension Systems (Live Valve and similar systems) will remain illegal for competition in all classes except for Class 1, Unlimited Truck and all UTV Classes. This rule has been in place since the 2023 season and will not change for the 2025 season. See GCR Suspension Components (currently page 25 in rulebook)

Please share this update with your builder and fellow racers.

Additional class updates/minor changes are still being finalized in class 6100, Stock UTV and the new Open UTV class and should be available by the end of next week. Updates will be posted on the website and social media.
