Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting the first ever Alumni Arrival Social at for the 2024 KSU Hospitality + Casino Managemt Vegas Trip 🎲🃏

It was incredible meeting the students — hearing their stories and learning about where they’re at in their journey. We can’t wait to connect further and keep these relationships strong as graduation approaches.

The amount of opportunity for growth and development in our city is something that we are so excited to share with the students as they check out the ins and outs of Las Vegas this week!

Meet ☀️

Yesterday we stopped by ’s shop to meet up with Len. Len traveled to Vegas from Canada, as a passionate fan in efforts to collect artwork that hung in the now closed restaurant — created by Recycled Propaganda, and copies of the previously printed menus for a collection of his own.

While chatting with Len we asked him what a couple of his favorite things were about VegeNation —

“I’ve been coming to the southwest from Canada annually since 2014, and I found VegeNation pretty quickly. Was then or soon after. My instant first favorite was the animal freedom artwork. I felt like I was in a place of love right away! Next is everything on the vegan menu, with the vegan mushroom gravy being the most addictive thing I’ve ever consumed, literally. And third was the people. They cared deeply about their place of work, their career, their mission for the animals, people, the planet. Unfortunately I never met Chef Donald. That’s next on my holy grail list! Today with you folks was one of those great connections though, and leaves me feeling good!”

It’s incredible seeing the impact DTLV businesses and creators make — locally, nationally and internationally. If you’re reading this, this is your sign to shop local. Support local. Do what you can do to help these amazing connections keep happening. We 🫶
