Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... children or all ages!!! I'd like to introduce you to Teri Muller Bruesehoff. A nurse, a serial entrepreneur, and a lover of life!!! Teri has a very unique perspective when it comes to breast cancer and she explains it when she told us why she wanted to shoot with us.

"Breast Cancer... who doesn't know someone who has been affected?! Breast Cancer hits all across the board - young, old, rich, poor, black, white, Asian, etc. Breast Cancer levels us all.

I've been an RN for 40 years, Breast Cancer continues to affect everyone despite our socioeconomic, political, or racial status. I want more research to be done. I like my tata's and I'm not going to let cancer take them away!!! I will fight to kick cancer to the street!!!

We're STILL five and two... one of the best records in the League and STILL the best record in the NFC North division!!! so, unless you're one of the two teams that beat us this year... shut your candy a*z pie hole!!!

Ladies & Gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to Zakkiyyah Salaam, your new favorite local host & NFL Alumni community affairs coordinator. Zakkiyyah is a New Jersey transplant and has been making Las Vegas a better place for our community since the pandemic. She was very instrumental in the organization of this shoot and the Breast Cancer Brunch that followed.

She had this to say about why she wanted to participate. "as a woman who has the potential to be personally affected by breast cancer, I believe it is important to always support in the ways you can. I want all people to know you are not exempt from the havoc that can be caused by breast cancer. Education on breast cancer and preventative methods is the best chance we have at conquering breast cancer."

PHOTOGRAPHER APPRECIATION MONTH
In October, Photographer Appreciation Month reminds us to show a little extra appreciation to those who go the extra mile to capture the perfect moment and make it last forever. Photographers have made it their duty to catch the most important moments in our lives on film so we can go back years later and remember what that time felt like. Sometimes, since they are usually in the background and putting everyone else in the spotlight, we forget how important their job really is. This month, show some extra love to photographers you know! In October, for many of us, the weather is changing and leaves are turning yellow and orange... What a perfect time to hire a photographer to take some stunning shots of you and your family or friends?

HOW TO OBSERVE

Show some appreciation to a photographer you know and use to post on social media. There are tons of easy ways to recognize photographers this month, and every month. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

1. Find your favorite picture that a photographer you know has taken, and post it on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, VSCO, or all four. Tag them so others can see their amazing work, and maybe that will even get them some more business!

2. Hire a photographer to take some beautiful autumn pictures of you and friends or family. They love having busy schedules, especially young photographers who are just starting out and need as many clients as they can find.

3. Give your photographer an extra little monetary tip. Unless photographers make it big, they often don't make too much money, and I guarantee they'll appreciate the gratuity!

4. Learn some more about the art of photography. Snapping a picture may seem simple enough, but there's actually a lot that goes into getting that perfect photograph. Maybe when you learn some more, you can even take up photography with your smartphone or camera just for fun!

When she was asked to participate in our Breast Cancer "Fight Like a Girl" Shoot not only did she say yes, but she also offered up her automobile as a prop!!! Thank you so much for hanging out with us!!!

"This shoot for me is in honor of my mother and both my grandmothers. Cancer runs deep in my family and most women do not live to see 60 years old. Today, I honor the matriarchs in my family. I stand with those fighting the good fight. I stand with those who fought and gave it their all. Not only do I want to bring awareness, I want to be the change I want to see. I will continue to fight like a girl!!!
