Lawrence's once downtown drive thru lumber yard was converted into a commercial laundry production facility in 1963...and 40 years later, into one of Lawrence's most popular places to hold a celebration. Our Ballroom & Bistro Rooms comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests.

You are invited to join the Jayhawk Breakfast Rotary Club and the Lawrence Ecumenical Fellowship for the 18th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Breakfast on Monday, January 20, at 7:30 a.m.

Our speaker will be Darren Canady, an award-winning playwright, Director’s Faculty Fellow in the University Honors Program, and Professor of English at KU.

Attendees will delight in a delicious breakfast from Maceli’s chefs and enjoy entertainment from the world-renowned acclaimed vocalist Vanessa Thomas.

Once you purchase your tickets online, you will receive a confirmation email. This is a ticketless event; you must check in for entry.

We strongly encourage you to buy your tickets online before the event to ensure a seamless experience for everyone. However, if the event is not sold out, tickets may be purchased at the door prior to the start of the event.
