Icicle Creek is too low to float!

River recreation season is in full swing, but Icicle Creek’s flow is already too low for safe and responsible floating. Instead, head to the Wenatchee River!

Why Wenatchee, not Icicle?

➡️Steelhead fry are emerging from the riverbed—dragging tubes and feet can disturb their delicate gravel habitat

➡️Low water means less floating and more walking over slippery rocks (not as fun, trust us!)

The Icicle Fund is pleased to announce a new partnership with Noah and Lindsey Dahlstrom, the dynamic duo behind Leavenworth businesses Argonaut Coffee and Schnitzel Boys Sandwich Company (later called Argonaut Kitchen). The husband-and-wife team will expand their culinary and community-building expertise to launch Café Argonaut in the former O'Grady's Pantry & Mercantile space at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort. “We want all to feel welcomed in the space like a ‘home away from home’ for families, visitors, people recreating in the Icicle, or anyone looking for a delicious coffee and a bite to eat.” Argonaut Coffee & Biscuits' Café Argonaut will open with a food and drink program similar to their coffee shop location on Hwy 2 later this summer. Please stay tuned for more info on the grand opening of Café Argonaut!
