Benny is burning the 10pm oil to get ready for his very first lemonade stand! 🤗 We’ll be ready curbside at 9am tomorrow (Saturday) with freshly picked blueberries, bouquets and lemonade! 🫐💐🍋

Hello to all our regular berry pickers! You may have wondering why we’ve been silent lately when Blueberry season is right around the corner! We have some big family news regarding the farm this season.

After living here on the farm for the past 16 years, Dan and Becky have decided to move on from everyday farming. They have bought some property in Cashmere for them to grow old on and have sold the farm… to their son and daughter-in-law Jesse and Courtney!

Jesse and Courtney along with their sons Caed and Benny have been busy moving and getting settled and acclimated to farm life these last few weeks, along with running their local business .

Dan and Becky will still be around from time to time at the farm, helping Jesse and Courtney get the hang of things. Heidi and I (Jesse’s sister and brother-in-law) along with our three girls will be around too helping when we can as well. We’re committed to keeping Roots in the family and a part of the community.

As for when we will open for picking - things will be a bit different because of all the transition and changes. We plan on being open for picking, but we can’t commit to any particular set hours at the moment. We have put a pause on the Picker’s club for this season as well. Keep following and we will announce some dates we will be open for picking very soon!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We have unfortunately had to make the tough decision to remain closed for the rest of the season to the public. A rough Spring and a neighborhood bear has left us with only enough berries for those who signed up for our CSA Picker’s club. Thank you for being loyal and patient as we navigate our toughest season we’ve ever had. We have high hopes for a better season next year along with some new fencing to keep the bear off the bushes.
