One of my Brides Mothers this year hugged me deeply and told me through tears “Thank you for making my daughter’s dreams come true today.” To all of my couples, and families who allow me to be apart of your wedding journey: THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY DREAMS COME TRUE! I started Wedding Elegance 12 years ago with big dreams but smaller hopes because I had no experience. I now have so much hope, so much gratitude because my dreams came true and it means so much to me that I get to continue to do what I love while showcasing other people’s love. ❤️

Being nominated for planning company of the year is such an honor… but to also be nominated for vendor of the year, and see my name alongside that nomination and not just my company name… it makes my heart feel incredibly proud. To the wedding vendors who have nominated me and my company for these two awards: Thank you from the deepest most sincere spot in my heart. Being a wedding planner means you often miss big things in your family because you are committed to your couples. It’s late nights, achey feet from 11/12 hour days and a constant “ping” on the phone. Having your fellow vendors say “We see you. We see what you’re doing. We appreciate it.” means everything. I am unbelievably grateful that I have been able to do what I love for as long as I have, and a large part of that is because I’ve had an amazing vendor community alongside me in that journey. ❤️

I’d say I’m not crying… but it’s not true. Love water is dripping from my eyes! Thank you to all of the vendors who took the time to nominate me and my company for this award. Over my journey as a wedding planner I’ve focused heavily on making sure my processes help both my couples/their families AND their vendor teams. I truthfully have the mindset that the TEAM is what makes a wedding successful and stress free for our Brides and Grooms, so to be nominated by my fellow wedding vendors is truthfully an honor! 🍻 to the industry we all love and supporting one another! .kansascity thank you for the kindly worded email, lots of thought and love goes into this and it’s appreciated!

Megan + Dillon. They played paper rock scissors to see who says their vows first. If this isn’t true proof that I have the best couples I don’t know what else is. Megan was a in one of my past weddings a couple of years ago, and throughout their planning journey she made it clear that all that matters was that she wants the day to be about them, and she wants to spend as much time with her human as possible. No first look, no hiding from each other. Just pure love all day long. This bride has touched my heart in many ways and is a huge reminder of why I love what I do. 12 years of planning and I still wouldn’t want to do anything else!
