The Finer Points would like to announce that co-owner and longtime partner, Laura Billak, has decided to step down and focus her efforts on The Finer Points Coastal and The Event Boutique retail store, her businesses based out of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. During her long tenure with The Finer Points, Laura worked tirelessly to move the business forward by implementing new processes and technology allowing Customers and Vendors to work efficiently across the business. She was focused on growing the business through marketing initiatives, setting up the Finer Points planning and design location in downtown Leesburg within A Little Wedding Studio and working to expand the footprint of the business across the DMV and beyond! The Finer Points and The Finer Points Coastal will remain sister companies and we look forward to watching The Finer Points Coastal grow to new heights! On a personal note, I couldn’t be happier and prouder of Laura for all her accomplishments. I knew from the moment I met Laura what a special person she is and I wish her the very best!

One thing I especially love is getting to see different traditions from all over the world. This Bulgarian tradition involves homemade bread made by the family and who ever gets the bigger piece wears the pants in the relationship. Watch what happens in this video...
