I got to make this cake for my amazing friend she turned the big 4-0 and her sisters’ threw an amazing surprise party for her. So glad I got to be part got the big night and celebrate this phenomenal person who is so strong, kind, funny, and full of compassion and grace. I feel so blessed to call you my friend ❤️

This 90th birthday cake was so fun to make! 90 years what an accomplishment! The biggest challenge I had in this cake is they wanted the color to be mauve. I thought I knew what that meant but after googling mauve swatches I realized there are an enormous amount of options when it comes to mauve. Some are pink and some have more purple gray undertones after talking more with my client we were able to nail down this color and I just love the way it turned out! Thanks so much for letting me be a part of the special day!
These cookies were from the private cookie class I hosted last week! I know summer is coming to an end but the thought of beaches has been wanting to hop on plane and head straight to Cancun 😍. This cake was for my sweet friend’s sister. It was a remote area and she was so brave took the cake up herself and stacked it there! She did such a good job and I love how beautiful with outdoor setting is! Something so magical about an outdoor wedding!
So in love with this cake! I wasn’t sure how the disco balls would turn out with the western theme but I am absolutely in love! The cacti were done with buttercream and the disco balls are from Amazon. Love getting to decorate these cakes for people’s special events! Brings me such joy!

I absolutely loved how this cake turned out! The theme for the party was beach themed and they wanted a sunshine cake to go with it. The cake comb I used for this by was perfect! It totally gives off sun rays on the side of the cake. Cake flavor for this one is one of my new favorites: marble cake with a chocolate chip cream cheese filling. It is very yummy!
I had so much fun working with this client! She is the cutest mom and I was so happy to be part of this special day. This cake was for the rehearsal dinner. The groom’s family is from Texas and huge Longhorns Fans! The cute couple met there and the groom’s mom wanted to incorporate that theme into a cake. I just love the way it turned out. Got to make this cake for one of my favorite clients I have gotten to do Isaac’s birthday cakes each year and it is truly an honor! I love being part of these special moments in people’s lives. Truly makes me so happy!
I love wedding season and doing semi naked. They are much trickier than they look. People see simplicity and equate that with easiness but the truth is semi naked cakes can be hard to do. Each layer has to be perfectly equal. Since it is such an exposed cake you can’t hide your mistakes. This can make it more difficult to get perfect but I love the end result!
Another Mario cake! I have 4 boys so I am naturally inclined to loving Mario. This one was a “dummy” cake which means the cake is just styrofoam inside. This is such a great option if you want to reuse a cake for another event or let friends borrow it. Then you just make sheet cakes to serve to guests.

This superhero cake was made using cutouts. The customer had a son who had a dairy allergy so we did a mini cake for him so that he could enjoy his cake and eat it too. Love superhero’s! Which one is your favorite? Mine is Iron Man all the way!

This Lego cake was so much fun to do! Sweet Hendrix is in my church and part of the kids that I got to be over in our church. He had been watching some of my videos on Instagram and really wanted me to make his birthday cake for him. I was so excited when his mom called and asked me to do the Lego cake for him this year! The Legos are made out of chocolate that were put in the side of molds, the drip is a coating chocolate ganache, and the cake topper is a custom one I made with my .inc Let me know how you think it turned out!
My little Might Pup/Meteor obsessed boy got the cake of his dreams for his 4th bday! This one was so challenging to come up with because there aren’t really any other Mighty Pup cakes out there with the meteor and newer Paw Patrol tower. It was fun to figure out how I wanted to execute this one. I think it turned out pretty fun.
Fun Fact my bday is on New Years Day. Another fun fact is that last year I became a great aunt on my birthday to my adorable great niece Wynter. Today we celebrated her birthday and I got to make the smash cake for her. The party theme was appropriately themed “Winter ONEderland”. Swipe to see how cute she is! We had a special Halloween dinner this weekend with our pumpkin bread bowls, beef stew, and caramel apples. Afterwards I gave the boys new Halloween Jammie’s and we watched Casper together.

This is my favorite way to transport larger cakes to venues. These boxes are super sturdy and can hold up to 80lbs of weight making them perfect to carry heavy cakes. Here is what you will need: -2 cardboard shipping boxes (I always do 2” bigger than my cake board) -box cutter -long ruler (I use a level from Home Depot) -permanent marker -Glue gun -packing tape 1. Assemble one of the boxes completely. 2. Remove the folded flaps on one end of the second box with a box cutter. 3. Measure 2” from the base of the flaps and draw a line. 4. On the assembled box measure 3” from the bottom and draw a line around the box. 5. Using a box cutter cut the 3” line on the assembled the box. 6. Using a glue gun, glue above the 2” line on the flaps and attach them to the top part of the assembled box with the 2” line sticking out. (See video) 7. Use packing tape to secure the cake to the bottom of the box. 8. If traveling far add dry ice into the box. 9. Put the top on the box and tape the sides of the box together. #cakebox #cakehacks #baking #cakedelivery

Beat butter and sugar on high for three minutes until fluffy. 2. In a separate bowl, mixed together all your dry ingredients, flour, baking powder, salt. 3. Add eggs and extract to the butter and sugar mixture and beat until blended together. 4. Slowly add in your dry ingredient mixture, a little at a time until completely incorporated. 5. Continue to mix until the dough has come together. 6. Lightly flour your surface and roll out the cookie dough to a 1/4 inch thickness. 7. Cut your cookies out and place on a baking sheet, covered with parchment paper. 8. Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes. 9. Once out of the oven, leave cookies on tray for 5 minutes to allow them to finish baking. 10. Transfer cookies onto cooling rack to finish cooling before decorating.

Pumpkin spice and everything nice. It’s pumpkin season and what better way to celebrate than pumpkin cake and cream cheese frosting! This is one of my ultimate favorite treats of the season! CAKE INGREDIENTS: -4 Eggs -2 C Sugar -1 C Oil -1(15oz) can of pure pumpkin purée -2 C AP Flour -2 tsp baking powder -2 tsp ground cinnamon -1 tsp baking soda -1 tsp salt FROSTING INGREDIENTS: -2(8oz) pkg cream cheese softened -2 C unsalted butter softened -2lbs powdered sugar -2 tsp vanilla -1/4 tsp salt CAKE INSTRUCTIONS: -With a stand or electric mixer whisk eggs for 3 minutes or until foamy. -In a separate bowl mix your dry ingredients together (AP flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt) -To you foamy eggs add the sugar, pumpkin purée, and oil. Mix for 2 minutes. -Add in the dry ingredient mixture and whisk on low speed for a minute or until fully incorporated (do not over mix) -Spray and flour 3 - 6” round cake pans or use 24 cupcake liners -Bake at 325 -35-40 minutes for cake -20-22 minutes tor cupcakes FROSTING INSTRUCTIONS -Using the paddle attachment, mixed together, the cream cheese and butter, for three minutes on high speed. -turn the mixer down to low and gradually add in the powdered sugar -Once combined add in the vanilla and the salt -Turn the mixer up to high again and mix for an additional three minutes This recipe is so easy and such a great pumpkin dessert for all of your holiday get togethers!
