Thanksgiving in Lake Lure...
Looks rough but 10x better than my last visit.
Was a blessing to be at Lured Market & Grill and spend Thanksgiving with them.

We've been blessed with donations thus far and are still working to collect. If you're packing a bookbag or donating supplies we thank you and you can take them to any of the drop locations listed. Went to Swannanoa yesterday with a variety of supplies. People from different areas have flooded in to help. From a variety of states and eastern NC. Lots of tents and campers.
What do they really need?
FUEL.... GAS, PROPANE, ETC.
Gas Cans...
GENERATORS
Portable propane cook stoves and other things like that.
As I waited in line to unload my delivery they had a lane where people could pull in to get fuel. But they have a limited supply and could only give each individual 1 gallon of gas.
I know we used about 5 gallons a day running our generator and this breaks my heart. They had 50 gallon barrels of fuel and with the volume of people in need...
Right now there is plenty of water going in, plenty of food and plenty of clothes.
They need fuel.
