Heidi Lowe Gallery is a contemporary art jewelry gallery exhibiting works by owner, Heidi Lowe, and numerous artists from around the world. Our gallery hosts a variety of exhibitions, including solo and group shows of both emerging and mid-career artists, the annual Multiples Show, and pop-up gallery and trunk show events. I exhibit works by artists who are innovatively exploring a range of ideas,

formats, and materials and that exemplify the many exciting and diverse facets of contemporary art jewelry. Heidi Lowe specializes in designing and creating custom jewelry pieces such as wedding jewelry and pieces for special occasions. I also offer a variety of private and semiprivate metalsmithing and jewelry classes taught by Heidi herself.

I am very excited to share my pieces for the TINCAL LAB CHALLENGE 2024 JEWELRY AND FREEDOM, opening today in Portugal.

Whistle Ring
The foundation of freedom lies in the root chakra with safety, security, and survival. Theoretically, when core survival aspects are fulfilled, one can aspire toward true freedom and self-actualization. A whistle references other tools to secure physical safety: a gun, a knife, pepper spray, or a baton.

Reflection Domes
The silver light-reflecting rings reference the spiritual side of freedom, ultimate freedom. They are meant to be worn on the inside of the hand, and the wearer is asked to be open. They ask the wearer to receive light, energy, and warmth while simultaneously giving and expanding.

In a moment when the world feels upside down, contemplating freedom in all its meanings is grounding.
