It was a year of former students getting married, and we were thrilled to be a part of many of these fantastic love stories.

This one between Garrett and Alex must be one of our favorites from 2023. They actually got hitched in January of 2022 and kept it a secret from everyone, including their family, until the night of their Speed Art Museum wedding.

They announced it via a PowerPoint presentation, and the reactions were, to say it lightly, INCREDIBLE.

the most iconic *floating* staircase in Louisville, anddd…

of course one of our most iconic couples who kept a secret 🤫 from their ENTIRE guest list (even their parents and siblings) that they’re already married, and did so in the company of Elvis in Las Vegas. they shared the news with their guests during their reception, it was priceless!

it’s not goodbye, but see you later…

all good things must come to a halt. at this time we’re not taking on anymore weddings for 2024, we’re pushing pause. as entrepreneurs, we are motivated by achieving significant goals, and usually push hard to reach them. BUT balance is needed as well. just as important as the tenacity to reach goals, is the awareness of when to pause. right now, we’re in that phase of pausing, slowing down, and reminding ourselves of our priorities. we have given so much to our couples, much beyond our responsibilities, that we just need a minute to breathe. remember, we’re humans too. for our current couples we will continue business as usual. as always, we appreciate your continued support.

it must be so fun to be a wedding planner… said EVERYONE!

UNTIL you have the weight of the world on your shoulders, take blame for everything, and have 200 guests watching your every move… it can be tough. I wouldn’t say it’s all fun, but it is always rewarding.

some weddings/weekends are easier than others, this one was HARD but that’s life - we take the circumstances we’re given, and make it happen. 🖤🤍
