‘Tis the night before Christmas at Mustard Seed Hill,
The air crisp and merry, the magic will thrill!
The gingerbread houses will soon shine in their glory,
Each of the creations telling their own holiday story!
Kentucky Tourism, our sponsor, and the judges are all on their way,
Ouita, Damaris, and Toa bring joy to this day!
Their task is as sweet as the season’s embrace,
To honor the work of each marvelous place.
Joining the fun, the Kentucky Tastebuds bring cheer,
With Lauren Jacobs, “The Cheerful Baker,” so dear.
All of their expert eyes will help crown the best,
Celebrating the talent that’s far above the rest!
Each gingerbread house, a marvel to see,
Built with passion, care, and creativity!
As our judges ponder the winners, who’ll earn the prize,
The sparkle of joy will dance in their eyes.
The lights are all twinkling, the stage is now clear,
For the ceremony, “Light Up the Hill,” is so near.
(Closed to the public, this special delight,
Will shine bright for only judges, guests, and competitors tonight.)
But! The results will be shared just as soon as we’re able,
Announcing the victors at each festive table.
To all competitors, we wish you great cheer,
Your talents have made this event of the year!
So best of luck, and may tonight’s charm inspire,
A season of warmth and hearts set afire.
