“If you ask any dancer, we will say dance is more then our sport, it is our life. For me dance is everything. I don’t go a day without dancing. It’s my way of escaping everything and letting go. Through this beautiful art, I’m allowed to feel emotion and passion all while producing and seeing progress in my own technique. I fell in love with it by watching older dancers and being so inspired, that now I strive to be just the same. I want to inspire anyone watching me. I will forever be grateful to Island style for taking me in when I was young and giving me this beautiful family. Being here, on team and around the ohana I was accepted into is one of the things I will always be grateful for 🤍🤍”

The Island Style Ballroom Dance Company consists of seven competitive teams serving youth in grades K-12. Our mission is to inspire a passion for dance among young people through a high-quality program that emphasizes technical excellence. We aim to provide our students with both the technical skills to become beautiful dancers and an environment where they can develop important life skills, fostering a sense of character and confidence to prepare them for success in all their pursuits. We believe that this program has the power to strengthen our youth, helping them develop talents and acquire the life skills necessary to become better individuals and create a brighter future.
 
We’re reaching out to our community for support. Your generous donations will play a crucial role in ensuring that our talented dancers have the resources they need to shine on this national stage. With your help, we can cover competition expenses, team costs, and provide necessary training materials to help our team perform at their best. It’s that time again!!

BALLROOM TEAM AUDITIONS!! 🥳🥳

We are so excited to announce our 2023-24 Island Style Ballroom Company Auditions will be held Friday and Saturday, May 12-13!!!

For anyone looking to get some extra help, we will be holding an Audition Prep Course starting April 21! Dancers will learn a Waltz and Cha Cha routines and will also learn technique that will help them look their very best!!

Registration is NOW OPEN so click the link in our bio for more information and to register!! (Registration for auditions and for the audition prep course are separate - you must fill out both if you also want to do the prep course)
