Oh yea, I found out (by looking at my badge during the awards 🤦🏾‍♂️) DFW 360 Booths was nominated as a vendor during the meeting of the year. Then, we won and I went onstage to take a picture with a masquerade mask on. 🤣

🚨⚠️ LONG CAPTION⚠️🚨

So, because I was on the move I forgot this young gentleman’s name but for the sake of story we’ll call him [Dan]!

During dinner at a wedding I was DJing, [Dan]’s father walked up to the booth and as he approached me I thought “man it’s a tad early for requests.” He asked if he could have a favor. I asked what he had for me and he explained “my son [Dan] is really into music and wants to be a like a DJ some day. Would you mind just talking to him?” I agreed with an “absolutely! Bring him over!” Dan came over and his dad had mentioned before going to get him that [Dan] has special needs. [Dan] approached me timidly so I broke the ice with a “Hey man! You want to be a DJ huh?” He replied, “Yea, I want to be cool and good looking like you.” I told him “What dude?! You’re already cool and good looking! Can I have a picture with you?!” He agreed to the picture and I showed him some things on my board. He left very happy but likely unaware that he had just made my night.
