Preparing for a major event like Soaring Eagle Academy’s 16th Annual Gala is a huge undertaking. This school is a wonderful facility for those with autism. Where students can achieve, reach goals and thrive. It is literally the only school in the world using this methodology. People have come from around the world to attend this amazing school. We are proud to be a partner with this great school for nine years.

Staging the auction with over 160 items is a gigantic undertaking. It takes a village!

We are so proud to be back at the Freedom of Movement Gala for the Arthritis Foundation for the second year in a row! 💚 This inspiring event, dedicated to benefiting children, women, and veterans, continues to touch our hearts. Several brave children shared their personal journeys with arthritis, and their stories were truly moving.

We were also honored to see Dr. Linda Wagner-Weiner recognized for her incredible work in the field. 🙌 With increased attendance from last year and exciting Vegas-style entertainment raising even more funds, it was a night filled with hope and support for such an important cause!

Veterans are our final group to highlight that are disproportionately affected by arthritis. While there is currently no cure for arthritis, seminars for psychological and physical pain management are urgently needed for veterans.

Each day in the USA, many veterans take their own lives. Air Force Vet Brian W. Sharp a victim of 2 forms of arthritis due to his military service credits the Arthritis Foundation for getting him back on his feet and allowing him to complete over 120 foot races in the past 11 years!

Army Vet, Nick Steen says his view on his own Arthritis completely changed when his 18-month old daughter was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis.

Over 300,000 children in the U.S. are affected by Arthritis. For the kids, this means frequent visits to the hospital, intense pain, numerous surgeries, attacks on their heart, lungs & kidneys and even Kawasaki disease.

This poses a challenge as there are currently 7 states with 1 practicing board-certified pediatric rheumatologist and 6 states with none at all.

The Arthritis Foundation is a beacon of hope for many families. After attending The Arthritis Foundation’s JA camp, 95% reported that their child feels more connected to others like themselves.

We are proud to be back in an expanded role at The Arthritis Foundation’s 2024 Freedom of Movement Gala honoring Linda Wagner-Weiner, MD, MS, coming this October.

We are selective in who we work with and The Arthritis Foundation is no exception. This is a cause that we are proud to support because the victims are over 300,000 children, disproportionately affected women and our Vets!

Plus, the distribution of the majority of funds raised gets to those who need the Arthritis Foundation’s help the most!

Over the next few weeks we are going to highlight three groups, two of which are disproportionately affected by arthritis. And the message to the first group is simple: Women - Hope & Thrive!
