Here’s to T E N! ✨ Ten years of Sterling Social!!! Honestly - pinch us! It’s a little surreal that we’ve been chasing this career dream of watching our company grow for a full DECADE. What started as a leap of faith in the 2nd bedroom of Angela’s apartment at the end of 2010 has turned into something bigger than we could have imagined with a team we’re beyond proud of 🙌🏻 While the end of 2020 didn’t exactly feel like a year to be celebrating, it still marked this milestone + we think it’s worth acknowledging all the significant moments that brought us to this point ✔️

So many memories to recount, so many reasons to be grateful + so MANY people to thank. It’s been the honor of a lifetime to be on this journey and to build a biz we’re so passionate about...every single day 🌈

To celebrate, we’re spending the week (why not, right?!) walking down memory lane + sharing a peek into some of the key moments that have meant so much to our company. While every event might not be shared (in order to spare your feed 😉) we are beyond thankful for every friend that’s become a client + every client that’s become a friend (and in many cases, like family)!

If this pandemic has taught us anything about the future of our biz it’s:
1️⃣ People NEED connection! Nothing replaces the energy of a live event experience or the feeling you get when celebrating with the ones you love ❤️
2️⃣ Through all the twists + turns we can get through anything as a team 💪🏻

Bar Styling 101: Our top tips for elevating bar decor + making a design statement 🍸

#1 Keep liquor and mixers in the well. Don’t clutter the bar shelving + bar front with bottles or beverage elements that don’t mix with the color palette and event aesthetic.

#2 Add some speciality glassware to play into the decor! This can easily be mixed with standard clear glassware, but an added pop of color is a fun touch.

#3 Position the bar and back bar shelving against a naturally beautiful backdrop. This will frame the bar as a focal point and allow you to keep additional decor on the simple side.

#4 Add customized details such as a framed bar menu or personalized cocktail napkins + stir sticks.

It’s easy to feel extremely small, overwhelmed + helpless at a time like this, but we’ve found comfort in the fact that each individual CAN do their part to help the greater good. Just WOW! We want to relive this past weekend over and over again 🖤 It was a design dream come true to create this environment! Our clients wanted to play off the modern farmhouse setting at Ojai with a chic Soho House vibe🍸 Between the ebony stained wood structure, hanging glass pendants + greenery, the residential-inspired furnishings and the curated tabletop pieces - it was absolutely breathtaking ✔️ Our favorite part had to be the Cecconi’s inspired dance floor with marble + high gloss slate diagonal stripes.
