As I began to work on the design, I realized that I didn't understand the script she wanted, but when I asked her about it, she explained that it was read as “Kalyaan” and then I remembered "Kalyan" is a Sanskrit word that means "to do something good for somebody".In that moment, I was struck by the beauty of her intention and the power of the word. So, I decided to write "Kalyan" not only in the script she desired but also in Hindi and English, along with the original Sanskrit script. It was my way of honoring her and the deep meaning behind her chosen word.As I finished the design and looked at it with fresh eyes, I felt moved by the thought of how we all have the power to do something good for someone else, whether it's through a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or even just a simple smile. And I realized that in a way, my client's tattoo was a reminder of that power - a beautiful and timeless symbol of the goodness that is possible when we open our hearts and choose to make a positive impact on the world around us. I am grateful for the opportunity to create something so meaningful for my client, and I hope that her tattoo inspires others to embrace the power of kindness and compassion in their own lives.
