Photo . If you want your dog at your wedding, follow these three rules: 1. ASK YOUR VENUE IF YOUR DOG IS ALLOWED ON SITE. 2. Remember that your dog isn’t going to behave any differently at your wedding than they usually do, and plan accordingly. 3.Keep your dog on their schedule. It is almost inevitable- you’re going to end up sending back less rentals, then you got in. Knives get lost, glasses get broken. Before you sign your rentals contract, check if there is a separate charge for missing missing pieces, or if it’s covered in your deposit and then just make peace with it.🙏🏽

Ya know, you ask me if these questions are real, but I’ve had more than one wedding where a parent has behaved badly, or been escorted out. It could be misplaced love, or they could be jerks. But if you’re worried about yours, have the discussion with them. As far as what to tell your guests, you don’t have to tell them anything. Full stop.

*DM For my wedding availability in 2024* Food and beverage minimum are often one of the biggest sticker shocks you’re gonna get when you’re planning your wedding, which is why I talk about them a lot. If you’re talking about Catering, there is going to be a minimum cost per person that you have to spend in order to, you know actually get the Catering. But, you need to be aware that on top of the food and beverage minimum, there are room fees, service fees, taxes that will be added onto the proposal, and these often total 20% to 30% or more on top of the food bill. Turn your proposal into a conversation – your caterer expects you to ask questions. Our Story
When I got married in 2003, I was lucky. I was already an event planner, so I had a very good idea of what to expect, and where to go to find what I wanted. That was the year (and you've probably experienced this, or are experiencing it now) when all of my friends were getting married, too. They were bewildered, and I just wanted to help. And, thus, Silver Charm Events was born.
I believe that there are three truths to wedding planning. No. 1. : When you know how Wedding World works, then you can make it work for you. So, I write a lot. My advice has been has been published in Brides, Wedding Wire, A Practical Wedding, The Broke Ass Bride (everyone has a budget and you should get the most out of yours) and the Huffington Post, plus I write a weekly column on my blog. You can search right now for any questions you have, by topic.
Which brings me to truth No. 2: If you don't have time to figure out how Wedding World works, you need to find people who do. I have almost 15 years of experience as a planner in Los Angeles, and I collaborate with the best creative professionals in Southern California. Silver Charm Events weddings have appeared in many magazines and websites, including Ceremony Magazine, Reverie Gallery and Style Me Pretty.
We’ve had a lot of fun and success over the years, and we want to make your wedding a part of that history.
