I love it when things just happen by chance. It just so happened that I was leaving Kenya for home on the same day my lovely clients Holly Clifford Nethery and her husband Henry arrived in Nairobi. We had a great afternoon talking over drinks and dinner. I hope it was a lovely way for them to start their Safari. It was a great way for me to start my trip home.

Great to be back in Kenya. Just finished 2 days in Nairobi with my ground partner Daniel of DK Grand Safaris. Now off to look at a property in Laikipia and then to Nanyuki to discuss a project I am excited about. Stay tunned Finally off to to Patrick Papatiti and his family and the community. Ahhh Africa!

Before owning Infinite Safari Adventures and before I was a lawyer I was a music agent. One of my clients was John Mayall. He and I did the first concert in Mexico City in decades. It was a wild weekend. Fromthat we became good friends. He made me an honorary member of the “brain damage club” (it was a different era then). He was an amazing talent, artist and person. RIP John. Keep playing the blues up there.

Gotta go halfway around the world to Melbourne to see our great cousins Jeff Harband and Vida Buchalter Harband who live in the Bay Area. I could say it's a small world but our clans love to travel!

Well, it took me almost 7 decades, but I have finally done it. Today I set foot in Melbourne Australia and my 7th and last continent to visit! I believe travel is essential. It opens you to new ideas, new experiences, and new people and therefore a different way of looking at the world. Here are some great quotes that say it even better

Recently I was interviewed for a radio program called “Environmental Directions” hosted by Nancy Pearlman whom I met at the and Adventure Show in Los Angeles. It was a fun interview where we talked not only about safaris but their importance as a tool for protecting the environment and avoiding human/wildlife conflict. I hope you enjoy!

One of our commitments to our clients is that we do not send anyone anywhere or have them do anything that we have not been or done ourselves. This past year Morocco was on the top of several top 10 lists of places to visit so I felt it necessary to explore. I spent 2 weeks in Morocco, and it was wonderful.

While not a wildlife destination, the history, culture, food and people of Morocco were amazing. I spent 2 weeks seeing as much as possible, including Casablanca (Rick’s was not there), Rabat, Tangiers, Fez, Chefchaouen, (the Blue City) the Sahara Desert, the Atlas Mountains, Essaouira (a wonderful coastal city) and of course Marrakech. I rode camels, took a cooking class, visited many historic places and did some fantastic shopping (in the picture I am wearing a beautiful coat made of wool and agave fibers that I watched the cloth being woven).

When you are ready to visit Morocco we will be too!

Since his first guidebook in 1957, Arthur Frommer and his family have created an incredible resource for those looking for information on traveling the world. The Frommer empire now inlcudes more than 350 guidebooks and a radio show, a website and a podcast.

Starting this Sunday, January 21st at 8:00am EST, Infinite Safari Adventures Owner, Alan Feldstein will join Pauline Frommer on Frommer’s podcast to talk about what’s new in Africa and answering questions that people have when planning a safari.
