You know that scene where the couple is whisked away from their wedding straight to the airport to jetset off on their honeymoon? It looks romantic, but it’s not the most practical route to go. You’ll be exhausted after your wedding festivitie and odds are you’ll want a little bit of time to recoup. Leaving for your honeymoon a few days after the wedding will give you some time to catch your breath then be whisked away to wherever you’re headed.

That is until you consider a few things:

👉🏽 Create a shared planning document.

👉🏽 Set a budget early.

👉🏽 Prioritize your preferences.

👉🏽 Work with a travel advisor (like me 😉)

👉🏽 Choose an all-inclusive package.

👉🏽 Consider a honeymoon registry.

👉🏽 Stay flexible.
