I would like to share with information about one of the Doula programs I work with. Frontline Doulas was created to address the disparities of maternal and infant mortality on black women. We provide free doula services for black birthing people throughout the city Los Angeles no matter their income. Black women have the highest maternal and infant mortality rates hand down. Higher than the Latinx, Asian and White communities evidence shows that having a black doula improves the birth outcome for African American birthing people. Last year Frontline Doulas was able to experience a phenomenal thing. There were zero C-sections last year a major accomplishment. if you are interested in enrolling or know someone who can benefit from being a part of Frontline Doulas, leave a message in the comments and I’ll connect with our program. .

I would like to share with you about one of the programs I work for .Frontline Doulas was created to address the disparities in maternal and infant mortality among Black women. Hands down we have the highest rates among any other races. Evidence shows that having a black doula to work with a black mother improves the outcome of the pregnancy. Last year Frontline Doulas did not have any c-sections. An amazing outcome. Listed is information about the program. A benefit of the program is we provide doula services for free. No matter the social economic status of the pregnant person.

Hey everybody! It’s been a long while since I’ve posted anything. I’m working as a Community doula and I’ve been busy. In fact Im with my client who 9 cm dilated. She should be having the baby soon. I love what I do. I must admit that I miss doing makeup (though I haven’t stop shopping for makeup thank you Sephora for the VIB sell!) Maybe I can find time for makeup, it was an important part of my self care. It so good to see you all.
