When my wife and I got together, I never imagined gay marriage would be legal in Kentucky. Back then, I think part of me believed staying quiet—staying in the background—was safer. But I was never meant for the background.

This Pride Month, I’m reflecting on how far we’ve come—not just legally, but personally. Being able to celebrate love out loud, plan weddings for every couple, and know that our love is just as worthy… that’s everything.

I get to help people say “I do” — legally, equally, and joyfully — and that is always worth celebrating.

Love is love. It shows up in all shapes, all stories, and all beautiful forms. 🌈💍
