Reducing the carbon footprint one bunch at a time We have always enjoyed gardening and found renewal being in nature. We value sustainability and being socially responsible and have chose to build our farm based on those values. Being the parents of five and the grandparents of seven, we want to ensure that the earth is here for our future generations and yours.

Did you save an Amaryllis bulb from last year? Do you want big blooms for the holidays? The next two weeks are a perfect time to start your Amaryllis ! The guy in photo one was started today, November 4th. As he grows we will share some updates . We have lots of Amaryllis is stock, call, text, email for your gift giving options! We have posted our preferred starting method below.
Blooming a saved Amaryllis bulb
• Remove from soil and discard old soil
• Fill a 6inch or deeper pot full of moistened potting soil (add a smidge of fertilizer if potting soil does not have any
included in it)
• Place bulb on top of soil fanning out the roots on top of the soil
• Fill in around the bulb with more moistened soil firming the soil in with your fist, leave ½ of the bulb uncovered
• Place in a warm spot of your home (65-80°F)
• Water with warm water only when top 1inch of soil is completely dry
• Wait and watch, within two-four weeks the stems will emerge
• Once stems emerge and are three inches, place in a sunny spot or provide artificial light
• Water when tip 1inch of soil is dry
• Turn pot if stems lean towards light- this will help keep stems nice and straight
• Once blooming remove follow directions for caring for your Amaryllis

Loving lily season! Cut off the individual blooms from the stock, stick them in bud vases and voila you have yourself an arrangement. Removing the stamens will keep the pollen from dropping on your linens.

Thank you and for being our vase fairies , , is a mantra of ours. Our patio furniture is made from 2*4’s we salvaged when we removed walls in our house, our Microgreen and germination shelves are made from old shelving units from environmental office solutions, and all our vases are 2nd had items as well. Just look at the little blue cutie! We love that our customers have really appreciated this aspect of our business.
