4 years!!!
How has it already been four years since we bought the venue? 🥹

Hi y'all! If you aren't familiar with who we are, we are the Henrys! The owners of Still Meadows! What started as a dream (and maybe a little bit of “what did we just get ourselves into?” 😅) has turned into something so much more than we ever imagined.

Over these past four years, we’ve grown so much — not just as business owners, but as people. And the venue? It’s transformed right alongside us. From countless projects and upgrades to unforgettable celebrations, every bit of progress has been fueled by the amazing couples who believed in us.

It hasn’t always been easy, but we’re so thankful for every couple who chose us over the big corporate venues, who shared our name with their friends and family, and who still stay in touch long after their wedding day.

YOU all are the reason we do what we do. Here’s to 4 years down… and so many more to come! 🥂

Your wedding party should make your day better — not harder.

When you’re choosing bridesmaids and groomsmen, don’t just think about who “should” be included. Think about who will actually stand beside you with joy, support, and respect.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:
💍 Choose people you have a strong, drama-free relationship with. You don’t need their drama distracting you or causing you unneeded stress.
💍 Pick those who are genuinely happy for you AND your fiancé. If they don’t agree or support your relationship then they definitely don’t need to be in the wedding party.
💍 Make sure they’ll respect your vendors — a good wedding party knows how important your photographer, coordinator, and venue team are. And be KIND!
💍 Reliability matters more than titles. Worried that person will back out closer to the wedding? Maybe just don’t ask them to begin with, remember quality over quantity

At the end of the day, your wedding party should feel like a blessing, not a burden. Choose those who fit into how you want your wedding events and wedding day to go!

Florals can make a huge impact on your vibe and aesthetic of your reception and it doesn’t have to cost thousands!

Here are 3 things we recommend adding to your florals that make a big impact without killing your budget!

1. Bud vases- they add great color to your space without getting full arrangements! They are also great to sprinkle into other tables like cake table, cards and gift table, bar, window sills etc!
2. Table greenery- not only can this add color to your table, it adds texture and depth! If you setup your tables before your day and it feels like something is missing, try adding greenery!
3. Chandelier greenery- talk about a wow factor, adding greenery to your chandelier instantly draws your guests eyes up! It fits with any style you’re going for while keeping you from spending thousands!
