He helped us find a venue that was spectacular, one that we had no idea was in our budget range. He was very attentive and made sure we were aware of everything we needed to do and that we had the information to do it--not that there was much for us to do because he handled the vast majority of things. His fees are very competitive and he brought a great value because just about everything we needed done he could do, from managing subcontractors for rentals and catering to decorating and providing DJ services. I can't say for certain but I believe the savings he found for us covered his fee. Don't choose him based on cost alone: Rob is very good at what he does, he has a team that did a great job taking care of us and our 75 guests on our wedding day, and he's a lot of fun. One of my strengths as a wedding designer and planner is really listening to my couples and not just with my ears. There are always signs and clues being offered up by the couple that are gold. Tapping into these things can take a good design and turn it into a GREAT design. By using intuition and active listening, I offer up innovative ideas that make an event deeply personal and special. Jesse and Fabian's wedding was one of those special projects for me and I loved how the guests and social media followers responded to the elements in the moment and on social media. I try very hard to bring this philosophy and practive to every event I work on.

One of the highlights of 2022 was the editorial photo shoot that I designed and coordinated with an amazing team of creative partners. The design inspiration was the GOLDEN AGE OF GLAMOUR - 1940s HOLLYWOOD. The overall design and aesthetic derived from the Hollywood Regency style of architecture and design which featured repeated patterns, bold colors of red, gold, and black, luxury and opulence.
Should this wedding have actually occurred 75 years ago in 1947 after World War II, the average cost for a large scale elegant wedding would have been approximately $2500 or approximately $34000 today.
This design features many period inspired custom details, especially in the graphic design and branding areas, including custom vinyl installation on the windows, custom fabric and textiles, and exquisite die-cut detailing on the invitations, menus and more!

What an AMAZING day we had yesterday during our editorial shoot at The Eloise. I had the pleasure of working with Elisabeth and Peter on their Boho Disco 🪩 inspired wedding at the GORGEOUS @schlitzaudubonvenue this season.
Elisabeth brings up a point in her testimonial that I think resonates with many couples. Do I really need to spend the money on a wedding coordinator, or can I just have friends and family help?
Elisabeth says that she is glad she made the decision to work with a coordinator, and her friends and family were also happy with that decision.
I loved seeing the look on their faces when they saw how quickly and efficiently everything was taken care of in preparation for the event, as well as how quickly and organized the tear down occurred at the end of the night.

There was DISCO FEVER in the air yesterday at The Schlitz Audubon as we celebrated the wedding of Elisabeth and Peter. This event was so much fun to work on because I am a huge disco fan. I often say that if I could have come of age during any decade, it would have most certainly been the 1970’s. The music, the fashion, the lifestyle!
Elisabeth, also a huge fan of disco, was looking for a Boho Disco vibe in the decor and that is exactly what was brought to life. Disco ball planters to display the gorgeous flowers, pampas grass, milk glass bud vases and mini disco balls scattered throughout the space. Fuchsia napkins tied in the lover’s knot framed each place setting. 💕
The space featured personalized touches like the photos of family and friends on the mantle, accompanied by the neon sign, a lounge area with the retro rotary phone recording guests’ audio messages to the couple, and the Memory Table with lighter candle featuring photos of loved ones that were lost but not forgotten.
Finally, the cake, adorned with its own mini disco ball and ornamental grasses, was showcased with a clear cake stand holding a trio of disco balls and decorative grass. As a sweet nod to our photographer for the day and Elisabeth’s BFF, the cake doubled as a birthday cake. The bride and birthday girls cut the cake and fed each other while the guests sang Happy Birthday!
It was a magical night, topped off with a special gift to me from the bride. My own disco ball drink cup to match those of the bridal party. I love it and cannot wait to use it while wintering in Puerto Vallarta at the end of the season.
