If you purchased Hypericum plants from us at Garden’s of Madison County last year, you should see new growth coming out at the base of your dead looking shrub! Give it a little time, then you can cut back the dead branches to make room for the new growth.

The heat has been pretty tough on the garden. Having fewer flowers has made us get creative and it’s been so fun!

Ranunculus are going in the ground! We’re excited to be planting some of our favorite colors from Van Zyverden (and available at Walmart!!). These flowers are grown from corms which can seem a little daunting but is actually a really simple process. We just soak them for 3 to 4 hours in running water and stick them in the ground. They can be planted in spring or fall in our zone 8! Thank you for sharing your corms with us !
