Hey y'all! Part 2 for cooking empanadas!

Preheat that oven between 350-375

Place on parchment paper if handy ...a little spritzer oil on top and bottom before baking gives a crisper coat in the long run.

They can can be fried...but if you're not a good fryer or hesitate about how to I would go with the bake mode. Healthier as well...comes out as crisp and delicious.

Hey y'all! I hope all has been well I know it's been awhile but just letting you all know I'm still catering thru the summer! This heat right? I'm planning on making a massive amount of a DBC all time favorite to be delivered the week of the 19th. 12 beef, black bean, Mexican cheese, and cilantro empanadas with that chipotle lime dipping sauce served with a fiesta black bean and corn fiesta salad.

These are great for freezing and pulling out at the right moment! The kiddos and adults have always LOVED this one!

For those of you that ordered Pho or will in the future. I don't precook the noodles....better prepped per bowl being served.There is a particular way that you prepare the noodles. First thing is to boil 2-4 cups of water and then add rice noodles. Turn boiling water off then let noodles sit in that water for 5-7 minutes. Take a thong or slotted spoon and scoop out noodles. They do not need to be rinsed or stained with colander. This is best way to handle rice noodles;

Some of you have been faithful, loyal customers from the beginning of my catering delivery service and have gone above and beyond in support and referrals of DBC...for that I will be internally y grateful!❤️💜❤️

DBC will be focusing on , personal and family obligations for the time being with hopes expanding at a future date. We all know the sky high cost of food right now in our region.. consistency with orders week to week must be routine in order to outweigh the inflation period we are experiencing. Even with all that said...I can't complain! You guys have been a great community to service!❤️💜💖

************Vietnamese Beef Pho*******************
Up to 4-5 servings will include 1 quartz container of broth on the side to protect broth from spillage....the broth is the best part 😏
By request I have put this soup back on the menu! Made it for the first time and making a new fresh batch after craving it for a few weeks and some of had the same feelings! Perfect for the weather and getting in fresh herbs and vegetables in an aromatic broth. This is a staple in Vietnam which consist of a broth of ginger, onions, cinnamon, a touch of clove, fish sauce, star anise in a beef broth topped with Shredded or Shave Beef and rice noodles. My garnish of veggies will be Cilantro, Green onions, Bean Sprouts, and bok choy and sliced limes! Excited to have this back on the menu! The garnish will be served separately. Heating and preparation instructions are listed in my previous post from this week!

Another great family favorite and perfect for this last wave of cold front that is coming. Classic homemade shredded chicken, peas and carrots, celery, dumpling pieces slow cooked in DBC'S creamy poultry seasoned broth. Garnished with fresh parsley. Crowd pleaser for the entire family! ❤️

I just finished delivering Pho to most of you today! I touched in with some of you via phone or in person about how to cook your rice noodles for the soup! Pho is traditionally best served fresh on consuming, so you all received a kit in making individual bowls of Pho with Bok choy, scallions, beef, bean sprouts and fresh lime for the extra acidic! Thai Basil and cilantro with side of beef both to be poured over noodles upon serving!

*************Cooking Rice Noodles***************
These noodles are more delicate than regular pasta noodles so requires a different method of cooking. You received 4 bundles of sealed noodles. You will boil 3-4 cups of water, already preset desired amount of noodles in your bowl. Pour boiled water over noodles and let sit for 4-6 minutes to your tenderness of noodles and then drain.Pour beef broth and garnish of scallions, bok choy, bean sprouts, lime etc over noodles and enjoy! Squeezing the lime into soup adds extra flavor!

Just made homemade VIETNAMESE PHO BEEF BO( so good for the cold weather flu and cold ailments the first time I've made it and pleased how it came out)! Aromatic in the air as well!! Homeopathic! Great for colds and viruses that are circulating Right Now!

Shaved Beef
Beef bone broth
Thai Basil
Sh*take mushroom
Mung bean Sprouts
Anise star
Ginger
Cinnamon
Ground Cloves
A little sugar and salt to taste
Fish sauce
Poured over Rice Noodles
A squeeze of sliced lime to add at the end

Cook altogether with beef broth and then add shaved beef to Slow simmer for 40 minutes 🙂

Add rice noodles at end and pour broth over it with garnish with fresh lime and cilantro for extra flavor!

Garnished with more Thai Basil, thin sliced onion, mung beans sprouts, sh*take mushroom, fish sauce and sh*take mushroom and green scallions!

I'll just make it for you...but so worth it!

Great thing about pasta is all the variations that can come together to make a good meal. Italian Sausage definitely adds great flavor to pasta. Ground Italian Sausage, broccoli florets, fresh herbs in a white light Cabornara sauce and fresh parmesan.

This is a popular Mediterranean dish that's both nutritious and flavorful and falls into the Whole30 category. Sliced chicken breast marinated in an all spice seasoning such as cumin, cinnamon, cloves, garlic. Chopped tomatoes, red onion and cucumber, choice of white, brown or quinoa. Topped with feta cheese. Served with fresh tzatziki sauce and slice pita.

************Brushetta Chicken and Salad**************
One the most delicious appetizer bites is brushetta on a crostini. This will be marinated chicken breast, balsamic vinaigrette,grape tomatoes, red onion, fresh provolone and basil served with fresh house salad.

My Chicago style BBQ meatballs have always been a favorite but I feel like putting a twist on them. Same savory BBQ sauce with pineapple chunks, fresh ginger and garlic, Bell peppers, beef meatballs served over choice of white or brown rice☺️

DBC'S special green salsa Verde served with yellow rice! Sauteed shrimp, onions and peppers served over rice and Verde and fresh cilantro.

A classic family favorite. Traditional Shepard's Pie of seasoned ground beef, peas, carrots and corn in DBC light brown gravy served with whipped mash potatoes topping! To be heated on 350 for 25-30 minutes upon serving. Lid off last 10 minutes!
