Silhouette Artist: BOOK today on the website in the bio.

Keeping with the 1700’s French tradition each Silhouette comes on a 5”x7” card. It’s the size the original Silhouette Artists used in France according to historians. The paper we use is archival grade and approved by the National Portrait Gallery at the Smithsonian.

Silhouette Art is recognized “fine art” when the artist cuts in person with no special lighting or machinery. It’s done with only scissors and paper. At last official count in 2016, according to a documentary, there are less than 200 silhouettists worldwide that practice this original art form.
