Father’s Day hits a little different in our household. It’s a huge day of joy because of the best dad to our kids and b-pa to our grandbabies but it’s also a day of dang…..we miss both my husband’s dad and my dad more than anything in the world. Hug your dads tight, spend the time you can with them. Life is too damn short. And last night was a good reminder that I’m not the only one missing my dad 🥹 happy Father’s Day to all our new eagles ledge dads out there! Make the best of your day!!!

Tears fill by eyes as I begin to write this post. Last week the town my family calls home was shaken. Lives taken, homes destroyed, and personal belongings gone forever but what that nasty storm left us with was a stronger community!
The morning after as I turned on the open sign I had no idea what to expect. I just knew I had to be ready to serve. We quickly scrambled around to find a way to feed everyone then realized they weren't going to take time to come to us, so we went to them. Once people began to realize we were providing food free of charge the donations began coming in to help cover the cost of the food.
We have a very special guy in our community that just wants to see someone else smile even though he is going through the storm right now. Jesse Lund has a heart of gold!! This guy lost everything and not once but twice has given donations to allow us to keep feeding people. If you see him around tell him how much you appreciate it.
Kim Olmstead Real Estate Storm Heroes and J&L Truck Repair (Jeff & Lynette Walker) have all made large donations allowing all this to happen. There has been donations of all kinds made. I literally can't begin to name every single person. But just know it doesn't go unnoticed.
Tomorrow will be our last day of providing free meals, it's been a crazy 10 days of food being given out. With that being said any further donations will be held to provide gift cards to families or individuals that need it. If you know of someone that could use some Moe's in their life to keep them going just reach out and I will make sure it happens.
There are so many people to thank, literally so many. Please don't take it personally if you feel I forgot you, I'm exhausted as well. I love each and every Moe's customer I have. Thank you all for making these last 4 months unbelievable! 🖤

Today was almost more emotional than the day after the storm. We heard so many stories today that could crush a persons heart. I’m so thankful I’ve had extra time at home helping at Moe's RBF the last couple of months seeing people that i haven’t seen in 20 years. But then to see them in a time of need has been indescribable. My family is amazing 🤍🖤
