Kai & Kaden drove all the way down to Magnolia, Arkansas from DFW for a mini session after the holidays, and I was SO honored to have them in front of my camera again.

We did engagement photos in Fort Worth this past summer, and their WEDDING is this coming summer! Can’t wait to celebrate them & document more of their love story. It’s sweet every single time.

Bennett + Jake’s wedding on film 🎞️

So many people have asked “why film?” when I started offering it. It’s less convenient, you have to wait longer to see the results, you get less tries at a good shot, it costs money to develop, etc. So what gives?

1. It’s classic & timeless (it was pioneered in the 1880s!)
2. It has a unique aesthetic feel with grain & richer colors
3. It forces me to slow down as a photographer and get the “right” shots and shoot with intention. In turn, creating a very curated and beautiful film gallery.
4. You have another set of memories in a different format (digital AND film)!

Gabbie & Chase envisioned an engagement session that was very “them” through & through. So we planned to do them on their family’s land with their horses (& dog!) in outfits that feel so very authentic to who they are. I could not love these MORE and I loved hanging out with these two. Autumn & Jordon had my JAW on the floor. From their outfits to the 2 diverse locations - I am so in love with their engagement session. Autumn came to me a few months ago when discussing their photos and said she was drawn to uniqueness and didn’t mind stepping outside of the box for their photos. Music to my ears!
