Memories that last a lifetime! 💖 Our clients, Elizabeth and Ken, celebrated their 15-year-wedding anniversary and Ken’s birthday in Maui. Elizabeth said the last time they were on vacation in Kauai and chose to get photos done, those were some of the photos she was in from their entire trip. We’re stoked for her that she had those precious memories captured for her and that she decided to do another photo session in Maui.

Their originally planned trip faced challenges due to the Maui Fires, but they pushed it back until the timing was right and were so glad they did! Meet the beautiful family - Elizabeth, Ken, Evangeline, Kenny, and Ben. 🌴

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family for the fourth time in the past six years. Michelle, Brian, Savannah, and Mason truly embody the spirit of a close-knit unit. 🥰Near the end of our session, a comical mishap occurred. Mason, the young and adventurous soul that he is, unintentionally took a dive into the water. Without missing a beat, his mom, Michelle, pointed and laughed, refusing to let the moment spoil the joyous occasion. ✨

My name is Shayla Tiare Collins. I was born and raised on this beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii. Family is very important to me. I’m so lucky to have a very active, Taekwondo loving, mountain biking, skateboarding, eight-year-old son, and a gorgeous four-year-old daughter.

When I’m not behind the camera, I love spending quality time with my family and friends- hiking, swimming, horseback riding, paddle boarding, and bike riding. My son and I are also very involved with Kiffmann Taekwondo. And on occasion, I work at our family’s bike shop, Krank Cycles, located in Makawao, Maui. I also own a custom design and crafting business, Maui Made Customs. I make adorable photo props, custom clothing, wedding & party decorations, & much more.

I love Maui and all the beauty there is to offer & can’t wait to hear about the vision you have for your wedding day or portrait session.
