It was a Scottish/Irish tradition, and the pastor talked about how they were individuals coming together to make a new life, and God would be the third strand that would keep their marriage strong.

Finishing off the 2023 wedding season sharing Emma and Daniel’s beautiful wedding. They were married in the local church in Upperville then celebrated on the property of Emma’s childhood home. To say this wedding was challenging is an understatement. We started to decorate and prep the interior of the tent on Friday, one of the rainiest days of the year. We were stood in about 6 inches of water, the tent was a blowing, it was just miserable 😩. The guys from @honeywoodrentals were absolutely amazing to work with and managed to keep everything in perfect working order. The day of the wedding we still had inches of water in the tent, the sun came out, we lifted the sides and miracle upon miracle we managed to remove standing water, set tables, a dance floor was laid and boom!! We have a beautiful, well executed wedding. The vendor team was amazing, Amanda held it all together with so many mishaps coming her way.
