In the middle of summer, when night sets and the air is warm, the wind playfully blows its song through the tall reeds of grass, hypnotizing the fields into a dance...this is where the magic begins. A trick of the eye? Perhaps. But upon a closer look the eyes begin to reveal another flicker, then another, and another until the whole field is filled with what appears to be millions of tiny stars pa

rtaking in the rhythm of the night. Flittering here and there, tiny faeries have taken over the prairie to don the name of my homestead, Firefly Fields.
