My mother took her last breath on this earth yesterday 8/16/24 9:01 am and immediately stood before Jesus taking her first heavenly breath. This picture was taken at the age of 17, her first graduation and now I fortunately was with her as she graduated to her heavenly home. My mom was a strong woman she withstood many trials, , seeing her parents and grandparents take their last breath. She has been loved by many friends , coworkers when she did work. Her work ethics were impeccable. She and my dad taught us right from wrong and instilled in us to be our best. She spent the last 13 months in a nursing home due to a stroke , the staff loved her and watched over her for me. Today my family and I start a new chapter in our lives , but all of us knowing that we will see our parents and all that have gone before us again. Thank you to my friends that have reached out to me , I appreciate your prayers. Carmichael Funeral Home is family to me , they are taking care of all of the arrangements. Thank you Jim Carmichael, Mike Whittle and many more who are holding our hands. We will have a graveside service for family on Monday morning at West View Cemetery, blessings from the Cooks
