Last Night was a night we’ll never forget! We had the awesome opportunity to open up for the legendary band Confederate Railroad! The production team was fantatstic to work with, and the fellas in the band couldn’t be more awesome to work with! Those guys put on one hell of a show, and to have the opportunity to warm up the crowd beforehand was indescribable. As we look forward to more opportunities like this in the further, this one we’ll never forget!

TONIGHT 4 Guys ‘n 4 Hats is playing at… wait. Sorry that was our old band name.

Tonight WOR is playing at The Vault in downtown Springfield! Show starts at 9.
Show up early and we can discuss different mattress sizes and their awkwardness in relation to age before the show!

Here are the steps:
1. Get through Friday
2. Properly hydrate
3. Invite your friends and family to see a band that has both a message and a good time.
4. Come to the show and try to define that message and enjoy some good tunes.

Seymour, MO we’ll be headed your way in just a little bit for our return to the Seymour Apple Festival! We’re excited to be back and you can see us today from 4pm-7pm, in the gazebo.

You can catch our brother in the business Isaac Kenneth and his band on the Main Stage from 1-3pm and Soulroot Band following us on the Main Stage from 7:30 to finish out the night! It’s a great lineup for today and we hope to see y’all there!

We had one hell of a time last Saturday playing Reunionfest in our home town of Marshfield MO, playing along with other great bands and members rooted in Marshfield such as The Jetz, The Dirty Saints, and Belle Ford.

Hey there!! Just wanted to remind everyone that we will be out in Seymour MO tomorrow Sat. The 18th at Seymour’s Historic Owen Theatre. After working hard on a new album, This will be our first show of the year and we hope to see y’all there! We’ve hit a lot of new stuff prepared for you! Doors open at 6pm, $10 at the door. Today, Andy had a chance to sit down with Lyndall Fraker to talk about his story growing up in Marshfield, his family, and how he came to be in music! An absolute awesome interview to say the least, and we encourage you to give it a watch and learn a little more about the finest dancing bass player this side of the Mississippi!

Also, Marshfield Old School Times has been going on for about a year now, and have had some great folks with great stories to share. It’s a great way to learn about some of the people where we come from! Right here in the hills of the Ozarks and The Birthplace of Route 66. Be sure to check it out!

With the album coming out tomorrow we thought it would be fun to give a little background to the songs. First up, 1953.

Lane wrote 1953 before joining the band. We got to watch him perform it at a little bar in Marionville. Once Lane was done with his set, we asked him to join the band. Which is crazy, because now it seems he was always there.

Inspiration for the song 1953 came when Lane took a business trip to Memphis. Memphis is the home of Sun Records where greats such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Jerry Lee Lewis recorded. Spending time there he said he couldn’t help but feel the modern music history all around him like their ghosts were still there. Their history and legend were on every corner. 1953 is when Sun Records first recorded Elvis Presley. It was a song Elvis wrote for his mother before anyone knew who he was.

1953 is a tribute to the rock n roll legends that inspired so many musicians both in lyrics and in its greasy mix of rock n roll and blues.
