Today was the last booking at the little uptown space that was blessed to host many celebrations since opening in December. The plan has always been to close it when it was time to move my boutique Wander & Wild from its current location and that day has come.

I looked for another space but nothing has fit the bill yet. But don’t count us out Marysville! We may be back!

We are hoping to put together an afternoon or evening networking event that is all about creating new content for your socials. We’re still working to put together some ideas for what it might look like. Backdrops like our greenery wall or our faux brick will be available as well as other “sets” will be put together. If you’re wondering if this might be an event for you here are some thoughts…

🍰 Are you a baker that is looking for some informal new branding pics? Bring a sample of your work and let it be seen & photographed by other business women in our community.
📸 Are you an influencer in need of general photos using products you love? Collaborate with the other women who bring in items and get some new material.
💻 Do you work primarily from home but need new promo shots showing you in your native habitat at a desk with a laptop?
📷 Are you a photographer looking to get into product promotion/marketing? You’ll be able to work with product based businesses through the evening to get the right shots for them while adding to your portfolio.
💉 Are you in the healthcare/beauty industry but worry about patient privacy in marketing? Come hang out with your small equipment and get some pictures with willing models.

STOP. PUTTING. IT. OFF. 👉🏼 RANT AHEAD 👈🏼

Seriously. Life is SO short. Go to Target, grab a notebook, and just start. Start writing down anything and everything that has to do with your dream life. You can organize it later. The key is to get it OUT of your head and INTO the universe. If the words “I just don’t have time” come to your head, then you’re right- you don’t. So don’t even bother, and just keep “settling” for your mediocre life. But those of you who think, “ Hey, I have 15 minutes while the kids are still sleeping, or 7 minutes of quiet while you kill than precious cup of coffee in the morning”, you’re already winning. Do you drive 45 minutes to a job you hate? PERFECT!! Open your voice recorder app and just start unloading. There is NOTHING special or exceptional about those of us who take the leap- only that we were brave/crazy/fed up enough to TAKE ACTION. Tell me you don’t have time bc you have kids and I’ll show you ten women who have kids -looking at you The Lace Cactus (hell, some of them even run a ranch as well) and still KILL IT. What better way to teach your children that ANYTHING is possible in life than for them to see you do it? Make a change. Life is short- leave a legacy.
