A “four letter word”? RAIN

Looking at the forecast, it included the potential for heavy rain, high humidity, thunder, possible lightning, and uncomfortable temps for Jordan and Ryan’s wedding day. Sticking with plan A was risky as it included an outdoor ceremony, outdoor appetizer hour and indoor reception dinner.

Asking a couple to release months-long-well-planned ideas and trust that their vendors would make a Plan B wedding spectacular in its own way, is a gut wrenching conversation to have with a couple.

We talked it out, laid out a revised plan and the team of vendors cranked hard to edit and execute Plan B!!

(Let me mention a text I received from my weather guru telling me one mile away it was a total deluge, raining and hailing VERY hard and headed our direction expected to hit at 3:28pm for the 3:30 ceremony. We needed to avoid taking chances and reposition the bride to avoid her possibly getting doused before the ceremony. The brunt of that storm cell spared us and only delivered thunder but glad we erred on the side of caution to not ruin a brides perfect hair, makeup, shoes and dress!! This situation created some unique “memories” for the daddy/daughter first look and Bride/MIL/SIL prayer time before the ceremony. 🤪)

In a way, the day ended up being the best of both plans. Everything was beautiful, delicious, the guests were comfortable through the day, photos were captured both inside and out in between storm cells and the couple still end the day MARRIED with a signed marriage license to prove it!

This adorable flower girl practiced her steps, was a champ with the fuss of getting ready and nailed her responsibilities of tossing petals!! The family wasn’t sure she’d make it down the aisle, but she didn’t even flinch and made us all proud!! Oh and don’t miss her glamorous sparkly golden shoes!! ♥️♥️♥️

This angelic voice sang as the bride walked down the aisle. It was hard to fully appreciate it with so much to absorb in those emotional moments. So the bride requested for her to sing it one more time to close out the night. WHAT A GIFT!! The bride and groom were able to soak in every word and enjoy the moment together. 💕🎶💕🎶
