**The second celebration will be in October (date to be determined) at the Ralston Cider Mill and will coincide in conjunction with Apple Pressing Day.
The Ladies Auxiliary of the Fire Department will be at the 275th Anniversary Festival on Saturday, June 8.
The Brookside Ladies Auxiliary of the Fire Department has designed a full color tapestry blanket of Mendham Township. It is a fundraiser for the Auxiliary. The tapestry is made in the USA and has pictures showing some of the important and historical buildings in town. Among those included are the Ralston General Store Museum, Mendham Township Library, Brookside Community Club, Brookside Post Office, Brookside Bridge, Brookside Engine Co. No. 1 Fire House, Ralston Cider Mill and Buttermilk Falls. The price of the full color lovely keepsake tapestry is $65 and measures 53"x70". For more information, please call 973-543-2145.
GET MUGGED - The Rotary Club of the Mendhams is selling commemorative mugs to celebrate the Township's 275th Anniversary! The ceramic mug features drawings of local landmarks, including the Brookside Community Club, Ralston Cider Mill, Brookside Post Office, and the Ralston General Store Museum, by artist Eileen Whitmore. All proceeds will support installing a new flag pole to distplay the American flag at the Mendham Area Senior Housing (MASH), which is home to many veterans.
