Who doesn't love freshly baked bread in the morning? Pandesal (is a Spanish word meaning bread of salt). The popular Filipino bread is the counterpart of American dinner roll. It may be eaten anytime of the day with butter, cheese, fried egg, sausage or jam. Usually paired with coffee, tea, hot chocolate or even a bowl of soup. Yum !!!

The popular Lumpia is a favorite FIlipino food. It is a popular snack, maybe savory like Shanghai (filled with ground meat) paired with sweet chili sauce, spring roll (filled with vegetables abundant during springtime) with vinegar dip or the sweet Turon (banana and brown sugar, some have langka or jackfruit), wrapped with rice paper, then deep fried.
