A LOT of people say I'm different now ... WELL, I AM.

Let me tell you, fam... STRESS is deadlier than all this fk up food we eat & not exercising together.

Your job should be easy ... but if the pleasure is gone, don't wait to get fired—leave.

- You'll always appear stressed out.
- You'll start complaining about things you normally overlook.
- You'll start making careless mistakes.
- You'll start coming in at the last minute or calling in for just peace of mind.
- You'll gain weight due to comfort eating, which can lead to many health issues.
- You'll start having family/relationship problems.
- You'll start feeling unappreciated and undervalued.
- Your sleeping patterns will be off.
- You'll start lying about how much you're achieving, but we'll definitely see the opposite from your appearance.
- You'll ruin relationships over empty promises.

These are just a few of the things that can happen from working in a stressful, restricted environment.

Take care of yourselves, family...we're losing waaay too many of us because of STRESS.

As I complete another passage around the sun, I have to thank GOD for curating a safe and healthy trip, and allowing me to start another one. This one has it's had its ups and downs, speed bumps, and stop signs and other obstacles that comes with living, but it also had a lot of green lights and expressways and I have soooo much to be grateful and thankful for, and I am. I hope he keeps me, my kids, my family and friends covered and smothered with his many blessings and in good health, naysayers as well, as we continue on with his plan. Happy Birthday to me, Ol' Funky! Thanks for all the well wishes, text, and calls, I really, really appreciate it. I'll be turning up in and around town, so feel free to come and have an adult beverage with me.

I was asked have I noticed why nearly all songs are less than 3 minutes these days, and my reply was: Yes! and added that it's been that way ever since streaming platforms came into play. Shorter songs are encouraged by labels and artists because it almost assures replays. You don't get paid by physical sales anymore, you get paid by STREAMS. Thus, no actual hard copies i.e. CD's, albums, 12", etc. The highest paying streaming platform is Spotify at .00318 the equivalent of 318 streams it takes to make one dollar. 1 stream is 30 seconds or more listening to that song. Makes sense? 👍🏾

I know one thing, if you look at what's going on with Kelsey's on Wednesday and Friday nights and how we're doing it, you really understand what a good product looks like coming from the ground up.
