Surprise! We didn't know if we'd have enough flowers for the stand this week but I am very happy to share that the farmstand is open and filled with pretty October blooms! 🌼🌾

Our U-Pick Field is officially closed for the season! The frost we had on Thurs night was light but it did enough damage to take about 1/2 the field so I have made the decision to close for the season!

Thank you SO SO much to everyone who came out and picked this summer! I love being able to share this experience with you guys and hope to do it again next year!

Over the next week or so, I will be totaling up our proceeds and making a donation to . I will be sure to share the results when I do! Stay tuned ❤️

Fall has brought us some incredible blooms this year but these Marigolds have absolutely stolen my heart!

They are prolific bloomers, fluffy like a mum and just so darn cute! They make me smile every time I look at them and I can't wait to use them in bouquets this week! 🧡

Goldie & I headed to the u-pick field yesterday to make a very special bouquet to welcome our new nephew/cousin to the family! It was such a sweet way for us to spend some one on one time together and a special way for me to teach her about cutting flowers for a bouquet 🩷

The U-Pick field is still bursting with color and we'd love for you to take advantage of the beautiful weather and come out to pick! It is crazy to think that October arrives next week! I plan to keep the farmstand open as long as possible but we are starting to see a big shift with much cooler temps at night & we will start focusing more on our fall planting and clean up tasks over the next few weeks!

We took some time to tend to and clean up the u-pick field this week and this little plot is still really pumping out some blooms!

It is going to be a beautiful weekend to come pick, especially before the kiddos head back to school! Their hand-picked bouquets also make great teacher gifts 😊

Here are our Farmstand hours for Labor Day Weekend!

Storms and heavy rain are expected this afternoon and this very tired flower farmer is taking the day off tomorrow so we will be closed today (8/29) & tomorrow (8/30)!

The stand will re-open Saturday morning (8/31) from 8-12 and then be open from 8-8 on both Sunday & Monday!

Yesterday I turned 35 and for me it was a big one as I'm still soaking in that I am somehow just 5 years away from turning 40! 🙃

I celebrated the day by letting go of all the things I wished to do and embracing all of the things that are right here in front of me - the simple things. We went to church, swam in the river, and had a wonderful meal & homemade cake at home. There is no better gift then the gift of time and being with the ones I love is all that I asked for this year.

Year 34 brought me my Wylder who made us a family of 5 and made me a mama to 3 precious babies who have my whole heart. This past year taught me to let go of the little things, slow down (I'm still working on this), and to prune the things out of my life that aren't bearing any fruit. It was a year of change, chaos, and many challenges but through it all I found so much joy and am thankful for the gift of God's grace!

I pray year 35 brings me transformation. I pray to be a light to those around me - to be gentler, kinder and more patient. I pray to have a spiritual meekness that is strong and grows me deeper in my faith. Life is a gift, time is something you never get back and memories are the only thing we take with us when we're gone. I don't ever want to forget that & I pray that this year is another year filled with memories and finding joy in the simple things in life!❤

We have so many flowers in bloom right now and would love for you all to come pick them! ✂️ 💐

The U-Pick field is open 7 days week from sun up to sun down! It is also self-serve! Just stop by the farmstand, follow the directions to pay and grab your clippers & jar!

$30/adults/mason jar & $10/kid/cup. 100% of the proceeds are being donated to a nonprofit called Our Rescue. Our Rescue is working to advocate, rescue and provide care for children who are enslaved in the horrific industry of s*x trafficking. We want to do all that we can to help raise awareness and do our part to support everything that Our Rescue is committed to doing. So now we are asking you guys to come on out and enjoy our flower fields, take home a bouquet and help us raise money for those who need our help to be free ❤️

August in a nutshell so far ✨️ My arms are always carrying flowers or babies and this time of year is a constant balance of joy + chaos. The field is bursting with blooms, the farm tasks feel as if they are never-ending and I will always say yes to another cup of coffee 😊 My days off are filled with alllll the mama things and I'm just doing my best to soak in every ounce of this beautiful time of year. Thank you God for the gift of sweet, sweet summertime 🩷

I am really sad to share that tonight someone broke into the cash box in our farmstand. It deeply hurts my heart that somebody would do this and that now we have to take further precautions if we want to continue to accept cash as a form of payment.

I'm not sharing this post to get sympathy, but to simply spread awareness since we will only be able to accept Venmo or PayPal until we find a solution.

To whoever took the money - I really hope you needed it badly for something. I also want you to know that majority of the money in it was from our U-Pick customers and all of the money is donated to a nonprofit that raises awareness and rescues children () from the horrible industry of s*x trafficking. I forgive you and am praying for you.

I will keep everyone posted when we are able to accept cash again. Thank you to everyone who came out to the U-Pick this weekend and continues to support our farm, we appreciate you so much ❤️

Double posting today because I'm so happy to share that our U-Pick Field will OPEN for the season this Saturday, 7/27!!! 🥳

The U-Pick field is open 7 days a week from sun up to sun down! No registration is needed and everything is self-serve once you arrive! Upon arrival, stop at the farmstand to pay your fee, grab a mason jar, floral snips, a guideline sheet and head to the field to play among the flowers!

📍: 10991 Pioneer Dr. Milaca, MN 56353. Drive past our house to the dead end, you will see our white farmstand and an entrance to park out in the pasture near the field.

💲: $30/person/mason jar, $10/kid/ plastic cup. ***This year we are donating all of our proceeds to Our Rescue, a non profit committed to rescuing minors from s*x trafficking.

✂💐: Cut as many flowers as you can fit into your jar, return your floral snips and take your flowers home to create an arrangement!

🙋‍♀️: A few last reminders - we do not allow pets, please DO NOT cut flowers from our other fields or high tunnel and please be respectful of our home & property when visiting!

We cut the last of our Larkspur this week and it is a bloom that I will surely miss! We direct seed our Larkspur in April when the soil is still nice & cool, keep it watered and weeded and then harvest hundreds of incredible blooms in July! It is loved by pollinators, has a great vase life and also dries beautifully! I'm thinking we need two full rows for next year 😊💜

Making a little tribute to our farmstand has been on my heart for quite some time now as it has become such a special part of our farm! Thank you to everyone who continues to come out week after week and buy flowers. You guys are truly amazing and we appreciate you all so much ❤️ Also, if you are in a waiting season, TRUST God. He is so faithful and has honored so many of my prayers when I have chosen to be obedient to him and what he has placed on my heart. He is SO good and I am so thankful for his plan & purpose on my life.

We harvested so many beautiful tulips last night! A little snippet of what we've been up to this week - prepping and planting in our spring high tunnel! 1200 Ranunculus are in the ground and my body is happily reminding me that I am 28 weeks pregnant 😅 I may be slow but I'm still going strong!

Our last big delivery to the Twin Cities Flower Exchange of 2023! I love that our field gave us so many blooms in the middle of October and feel very proud of this haul! 🫶 It's been a wonderful year and we have flowered our little hearts out! I came home from deliveries last night and expected me entire field to be dead & gone from the frost, but we apparently didn't get hit nearly as hard as I expected! Our dahlias and many other flowers are still going strong! 🙃 Our farmstand will be open Thurs-Sun this week and I'll be designing all the flowers for my little brother's wedding! We've started our fall cleanup and I have no idea what the next week will bring! Right now I'm just taking this all day by day and feeling very grateful for all of God's goodness in my life 🧡

This year, we jumped back in the Dahlia game and I'm SO happy we did! These flowers are a true labor of love but when Sept & Oct roll in, they steal the show and we've decided that we can't live without them 🥰 This week, we harvested 500 Dahlias from our plot!!! 🥳❤️ This is 400 stems that we dropped off to the Twin Cities Flower Exchange yesterday! Cheers to 80° temps in October and dahlia season!

Ending our PEONY season with a bang! 💥💗 All of these beauties were delivered to the TCFE today and are available this week! We also still have bunches ready for pickup at our farm! Send me a message if you want to grab one!

Ranunculus! I have great years and not so great years with these incredible blooms! This year I accidentally left my trays in a heavy rainstorm and I rotted out a lot of my corms 😔 It was a small but costly mistake! Regardless the small armful of survivors I'm now cutting each day are BREATHTAKING and I can't wait to share them with our Spring Bouquet Share members next week! 🩷🧡🤍

After seeing the forecast for the week of rain and more rain turning into snow I stress planted the last 1,100 tulips yesterday! We now have a total of 3,000 in the ground and it's going to be a beautiful spring! I took this time-lapse while I did it and I love it because it's real life. My 5 mo old was napping so I'm often going to check the monitor while attaining to my 2 yr old as I plant. Sometimes the simplest of tasks can feel stressful and often take twice as long to do, but things always manage get done and my kids are teaching me a lot about resiliency & determination ❤️
