Light Up the Spectrum-Inclusion Center is a place where ALL individuals of ALL ages and abilities (with and without special needs) can come together and create meaningful relationships. A platform created to nurture not only the individuals but their families as well. We believe that an everyday life is not only obtainable but our priority. For years, individuals diagnosed with Developmental Disab
ilities and Autism have been conditioned and struggle to fit in or "integrate" into a community. Neurodiverse individuals prescribed medications to fit a mold; in a world of human conditioning, Our Seniors diagnosed with Alzheimer's, placed in nursing homes with minimal social interaction and little to no person centered planning. We have created a facility of true and total inclusion that will allow ALL individuals to thrive and flourish into their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment. When I think about integration, I think of integrating Energy Healing, Reiki, Holistic Alternatives, Mindfulness Sound Healing and Aromatherapy. Incorporating stimulation to ALL 5 senses to enrich and enhance the lives of our individuals. Providing educational tools, professional consultations, holistic outlets for mental and physical health. Implementing mindfulness to promote overall well being of mind, body and soul. Within the inclusion center, the sensory gym incorporates tactile, proprioceptive, vestibular equipment and activities. A light room includes auditory processing and visual development with sight and sound. Light Up the Spectrum also offers individual centered planning. Private sessions incorporating not only goals, likes and interests within those plans, we’ll bring in large swirls of creativity, big splashes of imagination and possibilities that are endless. We create a one of a kind program that will lead to the magickal journey and discovery of inner peace.
