We are so excited to be highlighted in the current issue of Mill Creek Living Magazine! The article, "Mill Creek Pride Welcomes Everyone," beautifully captures our mission to ensure that LGBTQIA+ individuals and families in Mill Creek feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

Happy Thanksgiving from Mill Creek Pride! 🧡🌈

Today we are grateful for every person who shows up, supports our work, and helps make this community a place where everyone can belong. We also take this day to recognize that we gather, live, and build community on the traditional lands of Indigenous peoples who have cared for this place since before we were here.

Thank you for being here, thank you for being part of our community, and most of all, thank you for being you. We are so glad you are with us.

The Washington State LGBTQ Commission just released the largest survey of our community, and one number shook us: nearly 70 percent of LGBTQ people said they felt suicidal at some point in the past year. That is not just data. It is our neighbors, our teens, our friends.

This is why Mill Creek Pride exists. We are here to build connection, community, and safety right in our own backyard.

This Giving Tuesday, your support helps us expand youth programs, family outreach, and community workshops. We are fully volunteer run and every dollar stays local.

Reminder! The Found Family Friendsgiving Recipe Swap with Mill Creek PRIDE is Saturday from 2-3 p.m. at the Mill Creek Library.

After the swap, we will socialize, share, and do a craft. All recipes contributed will be part of a digital cookbook that can be sent out to all who attend. This gathering is geared toward teens and adults, but kids are welcome.

Starting soon, specialized support for LGBTQ+ youth will no longer be available through the 988 National Su***de Hotline. While the number will still work, callers may not reach someone trained in LGBTQ+ issues.
