The new statewide LGBTQ Commission report shows a hard truth. Nearly 70 percent of LGBTQ people in our state felt suicidal this past year. Isolation is still harming our neighbors and friends.

Happy Thanksgiving from Mill Creek Pride! 🧡🌈

Today we are grateful for every person who shows up, supports our work, and helps make this community a place where everyone can belong. We also take this day to recognize that we gather, live, and build community on the traditional lands of Indigenous peoples who have cared for this place since before we were here.

Thank you for being here, thank you for being part of our community, and most of all, thank you for being you. We are so glad you are with us.

The Washington State LGBTQ Commission just released the largest survey of our community, and one number shook us: nearly 70 percent of LGBTQ people said they felt suicidal at some point in the past year. That is not just data. It is our neighbors, our teens, our friends.

This is why Mill Creek Pride exists. We are here to build connection, community, and safety right in our own backyard.

This Giving Tuesday, your support helps us expand youth programs, family outreach, and community workshops. We are fully volunteer run and every dollar stays local.
