💝 Service opportunity for kids! We’re teaming up with Kids Impact Community for a fun drop-in project on August 13th, 1-4:45, at Hope Street Ministry. Sign up through the KIC website (linked below).

🎨 The afternoon will be a drop-in activity. Stay for an hour or the whole time! There will be a DJ for dancing, carnival-type activities, balloon creations and face painting. Participants will engage in creative acts of kindness by crafting silly pencils, personalizing pencil pouches and decorating composition notebooks—one to keep and one to donate to foster kids served by Fostering Community.

This summer, KIC launched its inaugural KIC Connects Summer Service Series – Building Resiliency and Friendship Across Zip Codes which includes monthly service projects uniting KIC families with youth served by Hope Street Ministry.

Cloud 9 Workshop provides Art Experiences for All. The focus of our workshops is on the positive experience shared with friends and family. We empower and inspire our participants to engage in art experiences and create fun and functional crafts from traditional art materials as well as re-purposed and recycled materials. C9W intends to instill a DIY spirit in our community. Our events and workshops provide a platform for the exchange of thoughts, ideas and solutions for our everyday tasks, challenges and celebrations. Everyday is an adventure at Cloud 9 Workshop! Welcome to the studio!

Kelcey Kalumbula created Cloud 9 Workshop in 2012. The business name came to her while rocking her youngest in the wee hours of a warm summer morning. While the name came in a flash, the business has taken over 6 years to craft, design and develop. In 2017, she expanded the studio and now offers art experiences for ages 2.5-adult. She believes art experiences add richness to life and provide opportunities to express & share our thoughts, explore ideas and process our feelings.
