Again, to dogs! I don't know why people say being "sick as a dog" is a thing because only 2nd to cats, they hold back what hurts not to worry their humans like no other. Thank you to for writing the story I listen to every time I miss Eclipse, Max, Seti, Oppy, Kepler... and look at Arrow, Deoxy and the Coup I know its worth it without you I wouldn't have had someone else's words to express the love I have for the world's most serious cube-pooping-doberman because she was that much business but had 2 things she loved.... comfortable things and the color purple. People say dogs can't color, but if you ever saw Oppy at a certain greenhouse - I pity the fool not wearing purple that day. This cut has been on my show repeatedly "dogs" since the 2000's.... (been on radio since 1996) - when my dad got hurt this means even more to me so thank the author for me. One 4 minute story has gotten me through some of the worst days of my life - death, betrayal, defeat.... dogs they are there for you... just like Checkers. Thank you also to the bands (after I'm done now sniffling at my navel like a jerk)

This week's show was recorded... in bed - Flu round 2 - get your damned flu shot people. I always get mine because it just keeps you from dying. So Gratitude while i have a ton of tude at the same time. So much thank you to my brother from another mother and father who has been an exceptional help with everything from helping with shoveling the walk when I was too sick to stand to helping out with my dad. Blood is thickest among punks and I can't thank you enough (And - i know you don't like this photo, but it's my favorite - and the last I have of Oppy) - show dedicated to the only doberman who acted like one. My baby girl who the show's logo is based on. She died on valentines day 2021... miss her every minute - and hate valentines day for one more reason - but this year, I choose love (*of dogs) because it's taken 2 dobes to be one Oppy but one hell of a set of nurses when sick - so valentines day for what you are thankful for matters more. Started the show - Love that there is a .albini connection there RIP

After dreams about being weighed down by a lead blanket made of computer keys with alien scripts on it i was assigned to turn into a periodic table, being told I had to go back to Alfred to prove i actually went to school and then another dream about being forced to buy groceries because it was the last one of earth at a store where multiple surfaces were covered with hepatitis and people were mad at me because I wasn't trying hard enough to keep them safe - I woke up jus a bit ago thinking about this killer punk band... so that's a good sign

This week's show new again - Sorry folks, been dealing with some stuff and the sick that won't go away. Thinking this week about the impossible situation Amanda Palmer is in and how painful their experience is right about now. I feel you lady. The Coup - I've not been feeling very fine as of late so I love that song... and Eloise. Damn those punk vocals. also expressing me feelings about having to tell people things are 'fine' when things are very not fine. - Agreed, white people are the illegals in this country and if you are a white person who's not standing up for immigrants and their families - you have no excuse to be able to look yourself in the mirror. More of Part 2 Best of 2024 - technically 2023.. but close enough - a record that is a love letter to a well versed record collector. Brilliant. this new lp is such a great testimony to how women experience being in the music industry and so many things I never expected to hear on a record that i related to. I adore this record because of this brilliant and biting vulnerability. - LP came out kinda on the cusp of 2023/2024 - so calling it here. I adored this LP and the live performances especially the one made a hard year far more happier. - ONE OF MY MOSTEST FAVORITEST LPS yes yes!! - bout time for an LP after that epic 2020 ep .band - beautiful release made even better by perfect production by - it just made a great release make you lay on the ground next to the stereo to hear it better. - also an LP that was 2023 but all the physical release came out in 2024 so - 2024. Also "go Girl" was my survival track this year so thank you for the life raft. ... damn...
