We had the BEST show last night at Phoenix Theater for Improvocation 🤩 John Clarkin told the most amazing story about how he met his wife, Rachel, their early days dating, and the crazy adventures they had on their honeymoon - all in celebration of their 35th wedding anniversary coming up this summer❤️ Thank you for having us yet again Andy Christian!

We have a special guest joining Just Goofin’ today!! Meet John Clarkin!

John was an original cast member of ‘No Name Improv’ before it became Just Goofin’. He took a break to focus more on Sketch comedy writing, coaching basketball and is currently in the process of becoming a personal trainer. Back in 2022, his daughter Erin motivated him to take improv classes with her. He valued spending time with her every week doing something they both loved and he grew a love for performing in the process. In his free time, he spends time playing with his beloved cat Violet, playing pickleball and obsessing over Notre Dame and everything sports-related. He’s thrilled to be back with Just Goofin’ in Mankato where it all started!

Improvocation is a monthly showcase featuring long-form improvisational theater groups from the Twin Cities area.Their forms are varied and unique but they will be sharing a common source of inspiration: tales from a special guest kick off each set.
